That’s cool! I’m not big on violent sports though

Re: What sports do you like?
time to watch our Canucks demolish Nashville in person tonight

------------
edit: we lost

Like any real Canadian, I'm a hockey goof. Other than that though, I personally love solo receational sports like skiing and swimming... I haven't been on the mountain in years though, I hope I can go this Winter, even though my legs are gonna fry after 5 minutes
I've tried so many times to understand how American football works and I just don't really get it. I kinda do now, but yegh. A lot of my friends are obsessed with basketball, but that doesn't annoy me in the way people obsessed with soccer and American football do

Re: What sports do you like?
Missed that message, but it is indeed true. Although I love american football for the mental aspect of the game, as I am one very not violent person.
Even though, I played every single position on offense because I can't tackle but being hit I knew how to do since my brother liked to vent his frustration on me since I was a kid (he said, jokingly, but it is still true). For more than 10 years. I now play flag but I'd like to do one last season of playing running back. Alas, my obligations as team president prevent me from participating in activities anymore.
Otherwise I like to run and swim, I also practiced fencing when I was a kid and am still fond of watching it when it's brodcasted at the Olympics

Re: What sports do you like?
Yesterday I found out a rather curious fact
. I have always considered pétanque as a sport for retired people on the beach, but... It seems that a pétanque world cup is organized every two years! The last world cup was organized last year and it was won by... Thailand. I didn't know pétanque could be so popular there!

Well, I totally forgot about pétanque but that’s an interesting fact! I wonder what other things have world cups
Re: What sports do you like?
I've always felt like I'm some sort of “don't like sports” weird and even embarrassing thing

Re: What sports do you like?
So in other words, you feel pressured into liking sport?
Re: What sports do you like?
My sport isn't even on here
I've always loved running. It started with middle distances but in recent years, it's been longer distances exclusively.
I did try climbing, strength training, judo and fencing too. Running is still my favourite tho as I can spend time in nature and listen to music. You also shouldn't go hard on most runs so it's an option even if you have an exhausting job or so.

I'm so glad I picked up American Football again.
But I have to confess : it's better when you're on the winning team
