Did I miss something ? There are Rayman 2's N64/DS music in Rayman 3D?
I would like to point out that I have not read all the answers to the topic, so I risk repeating things already said.
For me, the PC, DC and N64 version are all great.
I've never played the IOS version, so I can't tell.
The PS1 version is good for what it is, sure there is a lot of missing content, the physics are note the same, but it's still enjoyable. And we don't have to forget that thanks to this version, we have a playable version of the 2D prototype of Rayman 2.
I'm mixed on Rayman Revolution. The first time i've played it, i loved it, because I thought it was better : Better graphics, voice acting, more content, a hub world, etc... But after replaying it, I noticed all the problems with this version : Loading times, the game asking if you want to save everytime you enter a new area, some levels have been mixed with others, levels' musics are replaced with bad ambient sound effects when you enter an already completed level... I can continue like that for eternity. It's clearly a rushed remake of the game, rushed just to be released at time for the launch of the PS2. The only thing I like about this version is that the hub world give more interaction with other characters, and give more life to the world.
The GBC version... is a game that exist. For me, it's an official ROM hack of Rayman 1 GBC. The level design is not great, the illustrations are laughable, the final boss is the same henchman you fight 5 minutes prior, pretty much all ennemies are reskin of the antitoons. The musics are all reused from its predecessor, I can give it a pass since they are Rayman 2 musics, but they could have at least put them at the right levels. And who thought it was a good idea to put the game over music at the last cutscene? And no music for the credits, seriously?
The DS version is the worst version for me. Removing the elephant in the room : the controls are atrocious, the game is not made with the D-pad in mind (at least Nintendo reworked Mario 64 DS to be playable with it), and the touch screen isn't practical at all. There is a lot of bugs. The musics are worse than the N64 version in the US version, and atrocious in the PAL version (seriously, what hapened here !?). I knew someone who told me he didn't like Rayman 2, when I asked him which version he played, he told me the DS version, that says a lot.
Finally, the 3DS version... I love it!

. I know that it isn't great, it's buggy as hell, it's a lazy port, but I've spend so much good times on it. First that's with this version that I have discover Rayman 2, and it's thanks to that game that I've fall in love a second time with the Rayman franchise (firts time was with Rayman 1 GBC) and that i'm now an huge Rayman fan !

. Secondly because I've spend so much time discovering all the fun glitches that this port have, it offered me a lot of replayability ! ^^ For those who want to see all the glitches this port have, I've made a lot of videos showing them ^^ :
