Rayman 2 Revolution on Nethersx2 unplayable?

Post by Laszeek »

Hello there pirates!
This is my 1st post and I hope this is the correct place. I recently got myself Retroid Pocket 5 device. It is more than capable for running PS2 games.
Since Rayman 2 is my favourite childhood game, I decided to try the Revolution, since it's different than regular Rayman 2. I got PS2 emulator, game runs fine, but
very often I clip through walls or floor. No biggie, I can somehow avoid that, but I got to the point where I'm not able to continue. The powder keg is just falling through the floor and I cant do anything about it. Tried the US and EU version of the game, even got another version of the Nethersx2. Did anyone ever played the game on this program and managed to beat it? If so, what version was that?

There is the video of what is going on:

Thanks in advance!

The mentioned bugs were happening on PCSX2 versions from more than a decade. You might try out CPU only renderer if it's available. It might give more emulation accuracy for lower performance (so you might just pass some problematic section).
Or you could download save state (I mean virtual memory card where it's stored) from your device, and continue using PCSX2, then copy save state from there, and continue on your mobile device.
