Oh you’ll get used to it. Pirez loves these outta-pocket comments, I find them pretty funny as a Brit myself

Yeah, he’s not the most clear person about that
Re: Off Topic
If you want to support the notion that I believe that literally ever chinese person is evil, then I'm afraid going in the clear will help in any way, shape or form.
Beside, I'm always clear, because I'm the kind of white person that burns instead of tan.

I have to say, I find this resurgence of the 00s era internet to be quite charming. Honestly, with the absolute shitshow the modern net seems to be, I do miss those times.

I can definitely agree there. The mid 2000s net is something I really miss also, hence why I've got Flashpoint to mess around with whenever I get nostalgic. Anybody could make anything, and all the various styles and aesthetics from one game/animation to the next was just the most amazing thing to me, right next to the music.Master wrote: Sat Feb 01, 2025 11:23 pm I have to say, I find this resurgence of the 00s era internet to be quite charming. Your sig gives me that early flash-made creator logo vibe, actually.

Haha thanks! It's funny how anachronistic sigs are as an idea these days, but man back in the heyday of forumming sigs were an artform in themselves. This one of mine I made back like what...8 years ago now? Time is a scary thing. I don't even have sigs turned on anymore, but I'm glad it still brings a nice vibe to those who can see it.ChronicTraitor wrote: Sun Feb 02, 2025 12:18 am Your sig gives me that early flash-made creator logo vibe, actually.

Hell yeah, nowadays it's just a "cool" website which it's actually a website with ads embedded everywhereMaster wrote: Sat Feb 01, 2025 11:23 pm I have to say, I find this resurgence of the 00s era internet to be quite charming. I need to make a sig at some point myself. Also my Christmas Rank is gone, aw. It was fun while it stuck around, I guess. I've definitely ranked up in the meantime though!Master wrote: Sun Feb 02, 2025 3:11 am Haha thanks! I’m very glade that the 2000s web style is back and not the absolute eye-detaching pages of the 90sMaster wrote: Sat Feb 01, 2025 11:23 pm I have to say, I find this resurgence of the 00s era internet to be quite charming. Re: Off Topic
Whoa, that looks so good!
I’ve made a Spacehey recently, as well, i just have to learn how to code in here, because it’s kinda confusing, i know how to code, it’s just..Where i am supposed to put all that code in? And also, how do i really find people that i like?
I’d rather take that instead of the boring, minimalist design most websites have nowadaysGreengoop wrote: Sun Feb 02, 2025 8:16 am I’m very glade that the 2000s web style is back and not the absolute eye-detaching pages of the 90s
I need to make one, as well, but i just haven’t got any motivation to do it yet..ChronicTraitor wrote: Sun Feb 02, 2025 5:08 am I need to make a sig at some point myself. Oh, yeah, my Tily rank is now gone.. So, how many tings do i need to make it to the actual Tily rank.. Nevermind.
Well, i’m happy with Goth Teensy anyway, i play him the most, so not really a problem.

Re: Off Topic
It depends for me. I say if it’s heavily bright and colourful, then it’s better, but if it has that archaic 90s corporate look, then I much prefer today. Also, I’d say the modern internet is better for the sole reason that it’s incredibly convenient, but (like what is actually happening now!) I’d prefer it to be a mishmash of both types of webMagelin wrote: Sun Feb 02, 2025 8:46 am I’d rather take that instead of the boring, minimalist design most websites have nowadays![]()

Re: Off Topic
Ehh, I wouldn't necessarily call 90s web pages archaically corporate. While there was definitely a design language that was starting to form, it was also a lot more simpler, and whether or not it'd be corporate or just simply the beginnings of the common web standards coming into play which everyone, from indies to corpos were using, happened to be the case.Greengoop wrote: Sun Feb 02, 2025 12:26 pm It depends for me. As for modern web design, it's definitely a lot slicker, though I'll concede I don't like how opaque it can be at times, it feels like there's a ton of things happening in the background and you can't trust it's all good.
Now in the days of old, I point you to the direction of someone like Serza or MrBadGuy amongst others, there used to be a subcommunity of folks who used to make sigs for other members for tings...alas I think that practice had died out.
