Re: Ketchup or mustard
It’s this green slime that tastes like a mixture of garlic and vinegar and smells like sprinkles

Perfect, it will be in this bright blue bottle, and you can ignore the sign that says 'uranium', it's a way to hide the aioli.DaveRattlehead wrote: Sat Aug 17, 2024 11:49 am Nope, it ain't familiar... I'll look for it the next time I go shopping![]()

Re: Ketchup or mustard
I actually like mayonnaise best with my fries! Not the healthiest option, but definitely my favorite one.Hoodcom wrote: Sat Aug 17, 2024 4:49 am But apparently in some countries, Mayo is actually commonly supplied like Ketchup... I think some even eat it with fries? If I remember correctly.

Re: Ketchup or mustard
I think regular mayo is quite grim, but garlic mayo is the shit
Re: Ketchup or mustard
Neither. I prefer satay sauce, it's from Indonesia and really common in the Netherlands. It's made from peanuts.

This turn of phrase reminds me of a scene from a movie I saw years ago, apparently "An American Rhapsody"Greengoop wrote: Sat Feb 22, 2025 8:13 pm I think regular mayo is quite grim, but garlic mayo is the shit

I don't have a Reddit account, I'm just not the only one who remembers it obviously!

I love satay sauce, although I would get tired of it as a permanent replacement to mayo on my fries. The Jonster wrote: Mon Feb 24, 2025 12:00 am Also satay sauce….mmm got me thinking of chicken satay now!

"Grim" is a common bit of UK slang, I've used that term a few times before as well. Grimbalele is a new one though...

Yeah I figured you were just playing when you made up that word. I’ve never pictured myself using “grim” in place of just “bad” though lol.

I'm almost 100% in agreement with this, let me edit it for myself.DaveRattlehead wrote: Tue Feb 25, 2025 8:30 pm Allioli > mayonnaise >>>>>> ketchup/mustard

Never had Allioli but it looks like porridge. Garlic mayo > Garlic butter > Mayo > Ketchup > Mustard
