I probably should’ve made this joke earlier, but if you’re gonna do edgy jokes, do them properly. At least make the game a little bit higher rated so you can swear and use dodgy insults (c’mon, it’s a year before twitter invented, nobody would really care that much about that kinda stuff, right? )

I actually like the two-layered humor of Rayman 3 as it is: it can be played by kids, who will laugh at Globox's antics and other similar jokes, as well as by older players, who will catch some of the references and more mature topics. Swearing just wouldn't work at all here.

While it's true that Rayman 3 is full of the edginess of the early 2000s, I also feel as though it is sometimes being judged through the lens of the puritanism and hypersensitivity that have flourished in today's society. I personally couldn't care less for Murfy questioning the player's intelligence or a few mild sexual innuendos.

It also makes me wonder how the same people who feel uncomfortable about the English dubbing would feel about the French version of the game.

Sex jokes have always been the lowest and crudest form of comedy. Why do you think everyone hates hazbin boss or whatever the hell that one show is called Dumb jokes are also low, but sex will always be bottom of the barrel.

In my opinion, there's both good humor and bad humor about all sorts of topics, controversial ones included. Sex is no exception.

I mean, the special ed joke could be pretty funny, but birthday suit? Seriously? Are they like 5 or something?

Why? Again, humor is a very personal thing, but I found it amusing how Murfy is being threatened to downgrade his career to such a new low because of his performance in the game.

The community’s opinion on RTAS is genuinely so weird. For almost the whole time I’ve been a rayman fan, I’ve just heard about how terrible the show is. Now, in the past year or so, everyone seems to love it and praise if for how good of a show it is. Could just be goomba fallacy though

Is it true that Rayman 3 HD has broken textures and that you can't beat the final level? I was thinking of picking it up on PS3.

Yeah, it has a bunch of glitched textures, and as for the other bug, that's what the wiki says about it:

The game has a major glitch where if a level is revisited before completing the game it will cause the Tower of the Leptys to become permanently inaccessible.

Maybe that's not an issue if you wait until you finish the game to replay other levels though?
