There was definitely no hostility intended, though I must admit, I don't like misinformation when it comes to technology.

Anyway, if I was to say something on topic, I feel like I actually enjoyed Sonic Heroes even though a lot of people didn't seem to like it. I also used to play Sonic 2 a lot on the Mega Drive as a kid, and the Sonic music on the Genesis / Mega Drive (amongst other games on the platform) is amazing.

Fair! :D
Yeah the music in the Genesis games is amazing, especially in S3&K and Chaotix.

Yeah, sometimes I just get really mad at misinformation, and also terrible opinions (that aren’t funny , like the guy that washes his pizzas before eating them )

Truth be told I think most Sonic games have good soundtracks, I can name tracks from Classic, Dreamcast, Dark, Meta and the current era that I've gravitated towards in all.

The likes of Jun Senoue (when he's not trying to do Genesis era stuff that is), Tee Lopes, Tomoya Ohtani almost immediately come to mind when I think of Sonic OSTs and they've been involved in the series for years now.

Yeah, I finally played Unleashed on a friend's Series X a few years ago, and it was fun, but I haven't really played it since. Being able to play it on even more powerful hardware with greater than 60FPS support is going to be fun, and it'll also be interesting to see how the Steam Deck handles it, I did notice the Deck logo at the end there.

Fancy that! I’ve been enjoying playing the game a lot on PS3 lately, speaking of it

I’ve only ever played the PS3 one, but I know that “Unwiished” has quite a little fanbase for it. Might’ve to check it out one day

I remember playing and loving the Wii port as a kid, which introduced me to the Sonic franchise.
I always wanted to try out the PS3/X360 version and I think I'll finally do it by playing the recomp on PC!

If I knew some thing's about modding, I wouldn't mind making a Rayman addon for Ring Racers based on the footraceing segments in Rayman M, Especially played with something like this.

Oh nice, so Sonic Unleashed was your first game? Interesting....I'd try out some of the older games too when you can! :D

I read it as "while you can" and I was like "oh god, what is Sega up to now?"

This topic reminds me that my estranged parent was a hardcore sonic fan.

She once got into an argument with me over if the sonic movie in 2020 was actually the first sonic movie… she insisted it was the ova and I was like “THATS JUST 3 EPISODES PUT TOGETHER IT DOESNT COUNT!”
