Re: Off Topic
PlayStation has the PS MOVE, which isn’t getting games anymore. Xbox One has the Kinect, but Series XS doesn’t. Switch has motion controls but the devs just decide not to use them?

Re: Off Topic
Switch does have some "sportsy" titles, but they don't get the same amount of attention as the titles on the Wii did. There's Switch Sports which is the Wii Sports of the console (as you'd expect), if you're looking more into fitness in general however, I've heard decent things about Ring Fit Adventure. I can't personally advocate for it but it apparently worked well for some friends during COVID.

Ringfit looks like quite a fun time. Switch sports looks really pointless.Master wrote: Thu Mar 20, 2025 9:24 pm Switch does have some "sportsy" titles, but they don't get the same amount of attention as the titles on the Wii did. They haven’t used the PS MOVE for a just dance game since… 2021 I think?EdgeRabbit wrote: Thu Mar 20, 2025 9:24 pm Yeah its so fucking strange, just dance and 1 2 switch are the only games that really use em

Kinda a Wiimote for PlayStation, as well as the PSVR1 controller. I have one for my PS3.

Re: Off Topic
How do they do modern Just Dance games then? Do they come with their own controls now or do you just dance along to it?
To be fair, I don't think it's too bad if they don't bother with motion controls, outside of the Switch they're not common peripherals anymore.

Re: Off Topic
Ok that makes sense. There's an app for everything these days and I suppose you're more likely to have a phone than a move or kinect

Re: Off Topic
Very offtopic, but I remember that we were talking about it, so I went for a walk. Wearing a hoodie was a terrible idea, but I made it through even though I was really fucking hot
Going for walks is actually great though, I'll do it more

Re: Off Topic
Was it a pull-over or zipper? If I go walking it's usually in a zipper hoodie that I can easily tie round my waist.
And yeah, do highly rate walks, I want to get back into it, walking to the park was always nice.

A zipper, I didn't take it off though since I had my phone in my hoodie pocket, and this is the ONE time I wear pants with no pockets
That sounds so peaceful, by the way! Wish there was a park near me so I could walk around and see what's going on...

Ahh live and learn, have more pocket for walks.
And yeah, there's usually a lot of dog walkers so it can be a bit noisy if they're the barky type, but the friendly ones are adorable. It's also got a biking lane on the footpath so I have also cycled there, it's not a race track or anything so nothing extreme, but nice for a few casual laps.

Maybe someday I'll get to experience that. Also, bikes seem fun, but I never really ridden one, so I'd be too scaredMaster wrote: Thu Mar 20, 2025 10:25 pm Ahh live and learn, have more pocket for walks.

I like scooters more because it just feels so much smoother, and I don't know how to stop on a bike, so I'm less stressed and have more control over what I'm doing and where I'm going. I might actually ask for an electric one for my birthday, since that's pretty soon

Re: Off Topic
Why not? I ride on the sidewalk all the time with my push one, I don't see how an electric one would be any different
