Ahem. I am Dreyfus2006 (Dreyfus is preferred), from the RaymanZone forums. Please note that I shall not be common here. It is not out of dislike or anything. I'd just be overwhelmed (five websites already to handle, this would be the sixth).

Anyway, hello, hello, hello! Despite what...Drol says, I was the original creator of the Rayman 2 UST and the Rayman 3 UST. Drol was inspired by my talk of the creation of a soundtrack, and so made Raytunes. Drol, despite being my good friend, seems to...leave me out of things. I was also going to be a contributer for his Rayman Arena Multiplayer discovery, but then my laptop broke (that was also the end of my UST, which he took advantage of, MAYBE). Also, despite what Drol claims, my music is not low quality--it is made to be like Rayman 1's OST. Each segment of music (i.e. Outside the Sanctuary of Stone and Fire, Inside the Sanctuary of Stone and Fire) was made to be like an arrangement. He said it was low quality, but it wasn't. It is exactly how the game sounds, with the exception of a few (take note of that--a few; only my Clear Leaf Hoodlums track has several errors) errors, such as speeding up, instantly quieter, etc. This is because I used Audacity, and played without Sound Effects. I deleted the Music Effects (like the fanfare that plays when you defeat various enemies in Rayman 3) that count as music. However, things like the acquiring of a power are not Music Effects, but lower the volume as they play. Finally, if you were to ask people such as Matt (Gamerking, Matt B... I don't know what he's called here, if he is here), that would be proof.

Please keep in mind that I am not putting down Drol's efforts. I never did download Raytunes (and cannot, because the website seems to be gone; good that it is, because I warned him that it was illegal), but Drol did give me an example of HIS Bayou music. Exactly like mine, but shorter. And if mine is good, than his is good. I applaud Drol, especially, for actually making a program.

Anyway, whenever I am here, I hope to be friendly. If I say something mean, nasty, or rude, please know that usually I don't mean to. Sometimes, especially nowadays, I seem to argue a bit more on MSN, and maybe even RZ. But, over all, I do my best to be nice and considerate.

As for more personal specifics, my favorite animal is the Okapi, I am male, I am in 9th Grade (15 years old), blah blah blah. I have a deviantART account (http://dreyfus2006.deviantart.com/), if anybody cares to peek. And that's about it, I guess... Hope to be friends with many people!

Welcome, Dreyfus. Thank you for posting such an introducing post, so we can know you a little =)
As far as I know, RayTunes is offline due to problems with the romanoproductions.com domain name; but it hasn't anything to do with the fact it could be illegal.

Welcome Dreyfus, I hope you'll become an active and great member here at PC ^^
I too had my heart with RZ, even though I only had recently joined, but shortly after the forums were deleted I found my way here, and now I'm much more active here than in RZ, much better here methinks ^^;
Anyways, enjoy your stay here, at this wonderful forum Dreyfus ;)

Welcome Drey! But did you register just to accuse me of some things that aren't even true?

Ahem.

1. I never knew about anyone making a Rayman UST before I was half way ripping the Rayman 3 songs.

2. I just asked you to send me a few Rayman Arena files, just to take a look at them before I got the game itself. I took a look at them and saw that they were different from Rayman M's files. I thought I could maybe try to unlock online mode in Rayman M, but no, that didn't work... Though I DID credit you in the topic!!
( And how could I know you were making a UST back then? O_O )

3. That's exactly why it is low quality... Who wants music speeding up, slowing down and with changing volume? Exactly.
And BTW, I did only say that for the only song I've heard, this one:
Proof:
Dreyfus2006's song: http://www.yourfilehost.com/media.php?c ... board_.wma
My song: http://hunchman801.free.fr/raytunes/The%20Ship.mp3
And, can one person who does not even know me well prove that?
Hey, and look, in his UST, it's song 28, in my UST it's not! It's much farther!

4. I'm not trying to put down your efforts either. I'm doing the same thing as you. No, not that either. You are accusing me of using your songs? Well no, I never used yours. And I know you never used mine... I can't know anyways. And yes, the site is down because Romano Productions had a problem renewing his domain...
but Drol did give me an example of HIS Bayou music. Exactly like mine, but shorter. And if mine is good, than his is good.
That is the prove that you are accusing me of using your UST? You can never prove. Give us the link to your Bayou song, then we'll be able to judge. And you don't have all songs I have either, so I CAN'T have used your songs.
Look, you have this Rayman Revolution song?
http://www.yourfilehost.com/media.php?c ... Song_5.mp3
It's just an example of the 9 extra Revolution songs I have ( going to release them when we have the website back and Hunch comes online ). I also have some extra Rayman 2 songs, which I am sure you haven't got them. I also got the complete RHR and R3 Beta Demo soundtrack. I'm trying to find a way to have the N64 Rayman 2 music. I'm ALSO doing the extra Rayman Rush variations. Now okay? You don't have all this... I'm very sure about that.
Also, if you want someone who can prove all this, add mezuz from Raymanzone to your MSN. Talk to him and you'll see ;)

Hehe! And...I never accused Drol of actually USING my music. I just said they are near-exact, but mine contains the entire level. I don't have less (or actually I do, because I never got the music of the Prison Ship, or anything past the Summit Beyond the Clouds, along with the music of fighting Reflux), but instead mine are just longer versions. They include more variations of music, instead of just one segment.

Anyway, though, if it helps Drol, let me say that that music plays during the Capture of Clark scene.

And by the way, you didn't even listen to my music. I RIPPED them, so it just can't be that I missed a part...
Just tell me if I'm wrong.
Oh wait, that only counts for the Rayman 1, 3, M and the rest music. Because I didn't rip the Rayman 2 soundtrack I'm sharing. I found that one somewhere on eMule. So if your 'accusings' ( I know they're not, but... ) only count for the R2 soundtrack, then I understand.

Anyway, thanks ;)
I also need the other names, I'll ask you when I'll see you on MSN ;)
And, of course, I'll credit you this time very much for helping me for that. :)
