< sees it works pretty well but is ashamed how long it took < to read ^'s Futhorc. < has gotten really rusty!
< today decided to shorten <'s Easter vacation time, since < is about to get all the free time < can handle once they confirm <'s redundancy

Aww Plum, < supposes ^ was expecting it at some point, but < can't imagine it's a fun thing to contend with. < hopes ^ will atleast have a decent severance and hopes the subsequent job hunt won't be painful.

Re: The You Game!
< is happy enough with the severance package (although they initially put a fairly insulting offer on the table which was rebuffed by the employee representatives). < is hoping to go back to college and go into research for a while…
Re: The You Game!
Coincidence? It was < first day on <'s new job today. As could be expected, a hard day of work after 7 months of unemployment is bloody tiring.
< is already thinking of that juicy paycheck, and the tattoo < is about to get for <'s birthday which approaches.

< wonders if < is wasting time by drawing on Paint, < thinks that if some enjoyement can be obtained by doing that, it could be justified to some extent.
< thinks that regardless of that, <'s way of drawing is extremely slow and very inefficient.
< wishes the ability to "speed draw" and finish a drawing in one sitting.

< hadn't seen this. < wishes ^ the best of luck with their studies and hopes finding a new job won't be too difficult.PluMGMK wrote: Mon Apr 14, 2025 9:00 pm < is happy enough with the severance package (although they initially put a fairly insulting offer on the table which was rebuffed by the employee representatives). < is hoping to go back to college and go into research for a while…

< is running out of ideas to what to do with Rayman.
< has Rayman wall, countless fanfics and the plush is on the way but < wants more ideas. < loves Rayman.

Re: The You Game!
< never went quite that far, but < did have a spree of buying all the games for each console a few years ago.

< hasn't bought any games since Kingdom Battle years ago. < prefers to wait for awhile and see what others think of games < wants to get before < actually gets them.

Wait, ^'s not bought any new games for over half a decade? Is < getting that right?
That's rather impressive

< can only image how much spare money ^^ has
Though < hasn’t bought a game since < got sonic 4 back in February, which isn’t nearly as shocking.

Re: The You Game!
Re-evaluating one's life choices after purchasing Sonic 4 is a valid course of action, < can agree xD
Ribbing aside, < thought it was... inoffensive, < isn't quite so tied to 2D Sonic to see it as the sacrilege some do (and tbf, < does get why, it doesn't have the right feel or sense of play that genuine classic 2D Sonic had, but < still had a decent time with it, except for the Death Egg Robot at the end of Ep1)
< Thinks Mania definitely was a far better game regardless

Re: The You Game!
< actually prefers sonic 4 to Mania, call me a controversial little fella. < thinks it is more polished and fast paced, and < doesn’t really like the level design on mania.
With that being said, < definitely does see why people hate 4 so much. The physics suck cock and balls, especially the jumping and building up speed. The music is bad though I still can tolerate it. And the level design is rather basic.

Re: The You Game!
Actually, wait no, <'s last game was Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker maybe like 2-3 years ago?
The silver lining is that < has maintained a relevance to the series, although <'s knowledge is strongest from Gens 1-4, and maybe 8-9 if < ever gets <self to play Shield and Violet again.
It's not that impressive when considering < is job hunting not-so-aggressively (< barely mentions this since < hates talking about to anyone) and the games < has gotten recently have been from <'s sister; some for her own purposes, like Pokemon trading (who knows how she's still into this).Master wrote: Tue Apr 15, 2025 10:46 pm Wait, ^'s not bought any new games for over half a decade?
