Basic Rayman-themed games with PowerPoint
Hello everyone! Welcome to the Create Rayman-themed presentations with PowerPoint topic! In this topic you can post Rayman-themed PowerPoint presentations that you have made (if any of the registered users have made them). Of course, the message in the lock does not mean that the chance to make a Rayman-PowerPoint is over. I am already working on one. You can also make a PowerPoint presentation on the theme of Rayman-related things (for example, Rabbids, Tonic Trouble, Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix, Captain Laserhawk: the G.A.M.E., or whatever you feel is related to Rayman). I hope that you are interested in making a Rayman-themed PowerPoint presentation, and I hope to see many great Rayman-themed PowerPoint files here, or video files of how the user starts and presents the presentation.

Click on "Full Editor & Preview", select "Attachments" and then select "Add Files" to upload your PowerPoint files. If the file is too large, it is recommended to submit a screencast of you navigating through the slides of your presentation.

Cool! Rayman vibes to the max
By the way guys you can use hyperlinks to create a simple Rayman game in PowerPoint. I used to create a lot of point&click games like this back in the day.

But do you have time to briefly explain how to make a game in PowerPoint?Hugo wrote: Wed Apr 16, 2025 10:03 amI really want to but it takes a lot of time to make a good one and I just don't have that time right now sadlyTeensies in Globox wrote: Wed Apr 16, 2025 9:54 am For example, can you make one like this with PowerPoint?

Sure!Teensies in Globox wrote: Wed Apr 16, 2025 10:13 am But do you have time to briefly explain how to make a game in PowerPoint?
Any object can link to another slide of the show. It could be a button with the text "start game" or a door, anything you want. Clicking on it during the show will take the player to the slide the designer specified.
To link it, simply right-click the object, go to "hyperlink" or "link" (depending on which version of PPT you're using), then choose "within this document" and specify the slide number you want it to link to.
You can animate objects to create moving targets the player has to click on within a short space of time. However, you can't have game logic to store variables or make objects affect other objects. It might be possible with macros but I never managed to solve that problem.
If you have any more questions, let me know!

Re: Create Rayman-themed presentations with PowerPoint
Here is a Rayman game I made using PowerPoint. The title of the game is Collect the Lum!!!. It wasn't difficult to create, but winning the game itself is not easy. Musical files are also included to provide the experience of a real, though basic, video game. Google Drive doesn't display it as it should, so follow these instructions: Click the download icon. If you're using Google Chrome, preferably open the downloaded file from the browser's downloaded files section (this is the best way to open it, giving the feeling that it's really a video game). If you're not using Google Chrome, open the file from your device's file manager. (None of these instructions work on a smartphone and tablet.)
Re: Create Rayman-themed presentations with PowerPoint
It's really cool! I love the design choices and the spinning patterns of the lum.
My feedback would be to start with a slower movement. Failure would link to game over like now, meaning you start from the beginning. That way the player will feel progress as they succeed in hitting the lum. Right now it feels like the last level, I feel kind of lucky when I hit it.

Yes. I would like to change it to have more levels and Lum to be faster with each level. I already have a theory for how to implement this.Hugo wrote: Wed Apr 16, 2025 9:19 pm It's really cool! I love the design choices and the spinning patterns of the lum.

It will be ready soon.
Edit: It's possible it won't be ready anytime soon.
