Re: Your new home in the Glade of Dreams
My totally serious and not edgelordy headcanon is that Ssssam drowned himself in the marshes cause no-one went back to see him after Rayman 2...they didn't even invite him to Rayman's funeral. Razoff just happened upon his corpse and called dibs. After all he's totally a fraud and a bumbler, couldn't even fend off Begoniax and she wasn't even trying to attack him.
(But seriously, poor Ssssam, he gets no love)

If I were razoff I would’ve just let Begoniax come at me
Re: Your new home in the Glade of Dreams
In one version of Rayman 2 (I forget which) Ssssam does his melodramatic "you'll visit me again sometime, won't you?" while shedding a single tear EVERY time you complete his level. You can visit him everyday and he'll never be satisfied. Clearly someone offed him because they couldn't put up with being guilt-tripped any longer.

It must have been you or Greengoop then in that case. This is why we can’t be friends.
See that’s one reason why I would be ok living in the swamps in the Glade! So he wouldn’t be lonely!

I’ve never revisited sssssssssssßßßßşșśšßßsßsssamngh (can this be his new canon name?
) before. I don’t feel guilty anymore now that I know he’s a massive attention seeker

That would be the PC version. I've done that quite a few times, usually when I come back after visiting the Cave of Bad Dreams (even though you technically don't have to)…Hugo wrote: Sat Oct 05, 2024 6:33 pm In one version of Rayman 2 (I forget which) Ssssam does his melodramatic "you'll visit me again sometime, won't you?" while shedding a single tear EVERY time you complete his level. I have too, in fact! Given that his only neighbor in the marshes is Jano, figure he could use the company.PluMGMK wrote: Sat Oct 05, 2024 7:58 pmThat would be the PC version. You know thinking about it, I’m tempted to try this at some point in every version to see if he actually says it.PluMGMK wrote: Sat Oct 05, 2024 7:58 pmThat would be the PC version. I'd like to live in the city that is in the background of Jibberish Jungle.

It looks like a nice city, but I wouldn’t live there due to jungle conditions. Maybe if it was in Mystical Pique I would.

No I don’t think I need singing/chanting/whatever those voices are doing to be in my head while I’m snoozing there
I’ll go somewhere quiet.

Re: Your new home in the Glade of Dreams
As my profile says, I would like to live in the castles of Teensies In Trouble; they just look so cool! If Castle Rock is anything to go by, their rock concerts make the place even cooler! Sure, the dragons and Bandit Lividstones might be a problem, but I could deal with them. I've cleaned tougher clocks in the Glade!

I thought the castle ramparts were the outside bits with all the wood?

If I were to live in any area in the Glade, I'd go for the Rayman 3 incarnation of LotLD, it's a very peaceful place and it's near the coast too.

It quite reminds me of the Scottish highlands there (and the mountains in Ireland/Wales/Cumbria for that matter)
