It’s something very unlikely to happen... Just to put an example, my parents are in their 50s and they have never seen anything like this
Wow, y’all really got pretty good cables! We have atleast 2 power outages a year, but it’s probably because i live in a fairly small village, so not that surprising
Well, Dave was talking about a country-scale blackout caused by transmission system failure, which is indeed a very a rare event. Whereas local power outages caused by distribution line / cable faults happen all the time, no matter where you are – but like you say they tend to be even more common in small villages
I’ve started having colder showers (because it’s hell being hot from the outside and getting in an even hotter shower) and honestly it’s quite nice! The best part is definitely stepping into the frost.
I seriously felt that way once. I’d recommend doing a shit ton of exercise until you’ve almost collapsed in the heat, then trying a cold shower and then you’ll get into the swing of it!
No i take baths. I had a traumatzing experience in a shower when i was younger (which i would rather not talk about) and since then showers have been stressful..

You're not selling me on the concept if I'm meant to completely destroy myself in the process .
As for baths, I don't really find myself all too enthused by them, being stuck in a standing tank of water just doesn't appeal to me. I do wonder if they're more economical compared to showers however.
