Re: What's your top list ?
I would rank how cute each rayman version is (excluding r1 and 2 Rayman) but i think someone would get... reallly mad...
Re: What's your top list ?
Why is that?
Re: What's your top list ?
Nice list. Honestly I still like Rayman 3 GBA better than RRR GBA.

Yeah I have to agree with this, R3 felt more…fulfilling to me. But both games are still pretty good!

Re: What's your top list ?
Ranking all colors!
I'll be using ROYGBIV as my definitive color list since... it is basically EVERY color
1. Green - I don't really have a reason as to why I like green. I guess because it reminds me of nature? It's just a lovely color in general
2. Blue - Blue is honestly pretty beautiful. It reminds me of a clear blue sky- or tropical waters as the waves go by. I'm a sucker for anything ocean/tropical related, and blue checks all the marks for that. I like it a lot. (also, most platforms usually only have blue themes instead of green or other good colors, so that's another plus)
3. Orange - I usually diss orange for being nobodies favorite ever, but I have to admit that it's gorgeous in the right situations. Like how I said for blue... I'm a sucker for autumn! It's the prettiest season and, depending on what shade, is reminiscent of a calming walk whilst stepping on the crunchiest of leaves. I seem to have nature as my main reasons for most of these so far, but... I just really like how the trees and the grass look, even though I barely see it
4. Red - I have no real reason for this one. I think it's kind of cool looking, I guess. I think the main reason I like this one is the fact that they say you can't mix primary colors... when you can easily make red!
5. Yellow - I don't like yellow. Really. I do like specifically dandelion or "sunshine" yellow, but I feel like that's based off of childhood memories. Yellow does pair fairly well with green, though...
6. Indigo - There's nothing special about indigo. I just like saying it's name.
7. Violet - Violet is just a fancy way to say purple. Nobody really cares about it. I guess if I had to say something nice about it, I would say that it is reminiscent of space, however that doesn't really mean much considering there's much better colors... in space. It's horribly drab, and I've always hated it.

Re: What's your top list ?
Red being below orange is a crime, it's such a pretty color! Anyways...
Ranking my favorite emoticons! (not gonna be ranking any kaomoji's as I personally dont use them)
8: D:<
Just because this one's last doesn't mean I dont like it! Its great for conveying when you're mad at something, but aren't genuinely mad. I also prefer using it over >:( because its just has less character than this.
7: :(
So simple, yet so elegant. Perfectly conveys sadness, and is one of the og emoticons, which bumps it up a bit. Still prefer another one thats coming up on the list, but I'll use it when necessary.
6: :3
I dont actually use this one, as I prefer :P, but this one is still just fun to see. Dont have much to say, I just like it.
5: :0 and :O
They both showcase the same emotion, but with a different intensity. :0 being slight suprise while :O being shock! Since they're so similar, I put them in the same place, but if I had to choose one, I'd pick :O
4: D:
This emoticon is the essance of despair, having so much character, and all within just 2 characters. Its also perfect for showing ironic sadness, while :( falters on that end. Still, theres 3 places higher to go!
3: :P
This one is just silly, and can also be used when you want to be a bit toxic, but even then, its just great! Out of all the emoticons on this list, this one is the most fun to use.
2: :D
The counter part of D:, :D is pure joy! Its extremely close to the top spot, and I probably like it more than 1st, but I dont use this one that much compared to ut, which is why number 1 is...
1: :/
I use this one almost every conversation I have while texting someone, even when it isn't really necessary. I just love this one for no good reason.

Re: What's your top list ?
Exactly. I've also played a lot of LBP2 and have many memories of that game, but LBP1 was the beginning of my journey, and that's why I have a special fondness for it, even though LBP2 is objectively better than LBP1.Master wrote: Wed Apr 30, 2025 12:22 am Ahh I get what you mean, it's where it stands in your personal journey in gaming, sort of how I'd feel about many PS2 games, even if I don't necessarily play them as much these days.
Maybe something similar happens with RDR1, although I think there's more debate here, since it's quite different from RDR2. RDR2 is a technically perfect game with a lot of possibilities, but I think RDR1 is much more fun and still has that amazing story.
And from that top 5 I included, I definitely think you should give Tunic a chance. The other four games are quite well-known and very good, but Tunic is an indie game developed by a single person with extremely high quality. I played it when it was free on PS Plus a year ago, and it was a spectacular experience. The secrets just blow your mind. In a way, it was the game that got me into Souls-like games and that helped me "regain" my hope in videogames, since I definitely needed to play something different.

Top 11 Legend of Zelda games
1: Majora's Mask. An absolutely unique experience and a thorough exploration of how impressively fleshed out characters handle witnessing the apocalypse. A very artistic depiction of loneliness. Haunting. Unforgettable if you ask me personally.
2: Twilight Princess: A very epic adventure that succesfully rehashes OoT's story and elements and improves upon the limitations of the N64 in a very fun, immersive and refreshing way. I really liked the fact that Link's sword was controlled with the Wiimote when playing the Wii version, just too bad this version was essentially a mirrored port of the Gamecube version; though I understand why that was necessary. This game contains 2 of my favorite Zelda dungeon as well: Arbiter's Grounds and Snowpeak Ruins. There is not a single bad dungeon in this game and almost nothing I can complain about.
3: Ocarina of Time: A timeless classic that is undoubtedly one of the best games of all time, especially considering when it was launched. Over time however, the story has become somewhat cliché to me, which is probably because of how much I've played it and how much these elements have been re-cycled in future additions to the franchise. I only started playing the game 10 years after its release so I wasn't as mind-blown as people who got to play it during its hayday. I understand its value but it's just not my personal favorite.
4: Wind Waker: I understand why people are so giddy over it and I've enjoyed the game a lot myself as well, I just don't like it enough to put it in my top 3. The graphics of this game are timeless, but I personally prefer the more realistic artstyle of Twilight Princess. 10/10 though would sail again.
5: A Link to the Past: This game manages to feel like a living and breathing world while offering incredibly challenging dungeons and dungeon progression. I am very impressed by how this game handles dungeons, as it essentially feels and functions like a part of the overall world of Hyrule. Outside events often impact the inner workings of the dungeon. It's also non-linear, which really adds to its replayability.
6: Breath of the Wild: It's an amazing game, truly an incredible experience, just not an amazing Zelda game to me personally. The only part in the game where I truly felt like I was playing a Zelda game, was when I was raiding the castle in order to kill Ganon. The octopi-like death laser robots were an amazing addition, realllllly missing the dungeons though!
7: Skyward Sword: The worst 3D Zelda if you ask me. There's not really much I can say about it. It's just good. It's not very interesting at all, the concept doesn't really go further than "Oh you know what would be fun? Let's make a Wind Waker.... but in the sky!". It has some amazing dungeons though, like the Ancient Cistern which thematically is my favorite dungeon below Arbiter's Grounds. Or the phenomenally made Skyship dungeon, which unfortunately isn't as fun on a repeated playthrough as its miniboss is overused as an enemy even after its initial dungeon.
8: The Legend of Zelda: It's just an absolute blast to play this game, even 39 years after its release. I finished both of the game's "quests" last year and I love the retro vibe while playing it. The second quest is essentially a repeated playthrough with different item and dungeon locations, dungeon maps and even features non-linear progression. I am admittedly somewhat proud to say I finished the first quest without dying as well.
9: Minish Cap: The best handheld Zelda game if you ask me, though I haven't played Link Between Worlds. Absolute quality. This game made me very impressed with its colorful and complex dungeons especially considering the system it was made for.
10: Link's Awakening: An often forgotten gem, its design will really surprise you especially since you don't expect to be surprised by a 32 year old Zelda game made for the original GameBoy. Shame its ending is terribad. I also use this game as a substitute for its GameBoy Color sequels: Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages.
11: Phantom Hourglass: An amazing DS title and it manages to incorporate the touchscreen controls very well in its gameplay design. I am so glad I played this game around the time of its release when touchscreen controls were still a novelty, because honestly, as we all know that novelty is long gone by now. It's just a solid Zelda game that is definitely worth playing. I like the part where I had to literally close my NDS and open it up again in order to progress. I also use this game as a substitute for its sequel: Spirit Tracks.
Haven't played: Oracle of Ages, Link Between Worlds, Echoes of Wisdom, Tears of the Kingdom. I don't own these systems.

Re: What's your top list ?
I’ll take Rsandee’s list idea thanks!
1. Skyward Sword. A very hated one, but I found it amazing! The motion controls were great fun once you’d mastered them, and the dungeons were doable (which is rare for a Zelda game!)
2. Breath Of The Wild. I seriously love everything about this game! The graphics are the only thing that stumps it down a bit, but it looks stunning on emulator.
3. Link’s Awakening. But of a different one. But I love the small world with all those nice little things scattered throughout it. The dungeons are (mostly) bad, but that’s expected for a 2D Zelda Game.
4. A Link To The Past. A very impressive game for 1991. There’s also decent dungeons, cool environments, a great soundtrack, and unique boss fights.
5. The Legend Of Zelda. Surprising choice for number 5, but I really like this game. There’s so much to explore with the only boundary being the technology. Plus, the dungeons are great! It is very unforgiving though, and the lost woods are a pain.
6. Oracle Of Seasons/Ages. The Time/Season travel was fun, and the environments are really cool. I never finished the game and I last played it years ago, so I can’t say much about the dungeons on the other hand.
7. Majora’s Mask. It’s certainly a different game from the others. I’m not the hugest fan of it, but I did enjoy it when I played.
8. A Link Between Worlds. Wasn’t the best game, but it was a nice continuation from A Link To The Past.
9. Twilight Princess. It’s a cool game, and there’s not much else to say about it
10. The Minish Cap. Played it once and it was fun
10. Ocarina Of Time. I may be a bit biased since I played this when I was really young, spent about 2 hours getting a shield, and got stuck in the deku tree, but I really don’t like this game, and I never got the praise. There’s so many issues due to it being in the jump to 3D era.
11. Anything else. Haven’t played, so it’s in my interest to believe it’s dogshit.

I'll also take Rsandee's Zelda list
1. Majora's Mask - The uncanny atmosphere is absolutely extraordinary and elevates the game in a way none of the gameplay shortcomings can derail. I'm a sucker for those kinds of experiences.
2. Breath Of The Wild - The re-imagining of the Zelda formula, heavily inspired from the two OG Zelda on the NES, is nothing short of extraordinary. It has a few niggles but that sense of always discovering something new is astounding
3. Twilight Princess - The Zelda formula updated with wolves, who are my favorite animals. Plus that darker tone that I like.
4. Minish Cap - A very fun GBA game that was, somehow, procuded by the man who was famous for overseeing Megaman. It has a lot of soul even though it has some frustrating features when you want to play the game your way.
5. Tears Of The Kingdom - Breath Of The Wild, but bigger (and therefore a bit bloated) and with the surprise of BoTW consumed. Still love it but it gets into its own ways at times.
6. Four Sword Adventures - Nostalgia pick. Very streamlined Zelda that we could play coop with my brother and sister and still to this day a feature of our reunions, alongside MarioKart and WarioWare
7. A Link Between Worlds - A fresh spin on Link to the Past mechanics with an awesome art direction and a killer final act.
8. A Link To The Past - A dated spin on A Link Between Worlds, but a pivotal foundation with an awesome art direction.
9. Ocarina of Time - What was considered for a while the best game of all time has revealed itself with time as mechanically flawed and a bit bland in comparison to 3D games that have since surpassed it and 2D games whse art direction age better.
10. Link's Awakening - A fun GB game. Intricate but a bit flabby. Also I must be the only who thinks the sountrack is a bit meh, especially since the mcguffins revolve around music (the remake correct this but I haven't played it)
Re: What's your top list ?
Skyward Sword is still an amazing title. All of the games are to be honestl. A bad Zelda game is kind of like a greasy pizza instead of a pizza that is delicious without being greasy, the only terrible Zelda games are made by third-party companies (like the CDi games people make youtube poops of). I really liked the final battle of SS for example, but it's weighed down by the amount of times you have to kill the Imprisoned by then. Ghirahim should have been an additional surprise boss in its respective dungeon locations (except maybe the first temple). I found it a dissapointment when I finished a temple and found out Ghirahim was just the boss again. I think this game has the makings of greatness but just missed the mark, i would've preferred if the entire skybird section would just be removed from the game and we'd have to explore Skyloft kind of like in the Minish Cap or Breath of the WIld, with a parachute for instance.Greengoop wrote: Sun May 04, 2025 7:15 am I’ll take Rsandee’s list idea thanks!

It's amazing right!? It just feels so retro as well when you play it. It's like you don't care if it could look or function better, it's perfect as it is. I definitely had to use dungeon maps and item locations online, as well as the lost woods combination.Greengoop wrote: Sun May 04, 2025 7:15 am 5. The Legend Of Zelda. Nah nothing in the franchise is dogshit, no main-line game at least. I really recommend you keep giving Ocarina of Time a chance! It will take a while before the game flips the script and surprises you in a way you will never see coming, it will take a while but it will be worth it!Greengoop wrote: Sun May 04, 2025 7:15 am 10. It sure does, I've never seen a game like it since!Pirez wrote: Sun May 04, 2025 11:14 am
1. Majora's Mask - The uncanny atmosphere is absolutely extraordinary and elevates the game in a way none of the gameplay shortcomings can derail. I'm a sucker for those kinds of experiences.
Yeah exactly, I agree. I put it higher on the list myself because of its dungeons and plottwist. For me the only reason I have negative opinions about it is because of how familiar I am with the game, how many times I've played it and how used I am to the game. I guess I'm just tired of it, but I remember what it was like playing it for the first time and I understand why many people consider it a masterpiece.Pirez wrote: Sun May 04, 2025 11:14 am
9. Ocarina of Time - What was considered for a while the best game of all time has revealed itself with time as mechanically flawed and a bit bland in comparison to 3D games that have since surpassed it and 2D games whse art direction age better.
I won't have the time to play games as much soon as I'll start my PhD, but I hope to find a method or system to play the newer games on!

I don't remember putting Snes design at the top of a list, and I really don't like Rayman 2, I dont think it's was a rank list

Oh? Does Dumbo have a list of top Rayman designs? (Or maybe you already posted it and I just need to actually try going through this whole thread)
Re: What's your top list ?

Re: What's your top list ?
Ranking every users usernames based on how much I'd want a physical version of their names!
1: dr_st. Dr is doctor for short, and st is street, so i'm taking this as a doctor whose name is street. Having a personal doctor would be really nice, but i'm assuming I still have to pay him.
2: WPthemodder. Since WP stands for Warrior Pigs (I think), im taking this as a pig warrior that knows how to moderate games. Would be really cool, and I could use it to attack people I don't like
3: Edgerabbit. Never really wanted a pet rabbit, but now I'm stuck with one that's always on edge. Would be nice, so I can't complain
4: The Jonster. There's a company named Jonster that sells swimming pools, so I guess I have a second swimming pool now.
5: Dumbo TV. Im taking this as a tv that barely works. Could probably pawn it off for some cash, but I wouldn’t wanna keep it. I already have enough tv’s!
6: Raygamer99. I'm taking it as a 99 year old who exclusively plays games from the Rayman franchise. Could probably spend some time screwing around him on Rayman, but that's about it. Still would be nice company
7: Daverattlehead. I'm taking this as a rattle in the shape of a head, that's named Dave. Honestly would be pretty cool to own, but i'm not sure what I’d use it for
8: Teensies in Globox. Im taking this as 3 teensies wearing a Globox costume like 3 kids wearing a trenchcoat. Would be funny, but not very useful. Not sure what I’d do with the teensies.
9: PluMGMK. There's a company named GMK that makes keyboards, so I’d get a plum, and a keyboard. I have a laptop though, so the keyboard isn’t very useful. Never actually tried a plum, so it might be good!
10: Pirez. Pires translates to saucer, and that’s close enough to Pirez. I already have one, but a backup would be nice.
11: Hunchman801. Hunchman has no meaning (obviously), so i'm taking it as an 801 year old hunchback. He could maybe give me good advice, but at such an old age, I'm not sure he could really do anything.
12: Steo. Its an acronym for the Short Term Energy Outlook report for the US, and its pretty interesting to look at. Not very useful for me though.
13: Rsandee. Doesn’t mean anything, so I'm taking it as a metal R, covered in sand. The R would be kinda neat to have, but the sand would get everywhere.
14: Magelin. Apparently its a program in Mound St Joseph university that prepares students for the NCLEX-RN exam, and to become a nurse. I guess it’s be nice if I wanted to get into nursing… But I'm not.
15: Greengoop. Most goop that is green is just sewage. It’d just make a huge mess!
16: Master. I don’t want a master. Self explanatory.
17: Itzaldrake. If you say it out loud, it sounds like you’re saying “It’s all Drake”, and since Itzaldrake doesn’t mean anything, im taking it as a button that turns everything in the world... into Drake. It’d be funny to have, but would also destroy earth if pressed.
If I forgot you, just tell me and I'll add you to the list!

It seems, once again, that I am the first frenchie on the board. Sorry Hunch, but also not sorry. It serves you right for leaving me hanging in Paris because "I have a life, you know"

It's funny, because I tend to read it as "saint" rather than "street"Ithasmore wrote: Fri Jun 06, 2025 7:06 pm 1: dr_st.
