Re: The Leptys Scepter Quest
I stare in utter confusion as I watch Raygamer leave with the Crash Bandicoot crew, confused as to how video game characters came into the real world, before realizing something drastic: this world... Isn't real! I suddenly wake up from the Matrix, and recreate the entirety of the Matrix trilogy, losing baluable comrades, destroying machines, and eventually freeing the world, at the cost of Neo. As a reward for saving humanith, I get granted the scepter, for someone has somehow brought it from the virtual reality into the real world!

Umm… we never left N. Sanity Beach. You suddenly realize this and wake up from your Matrix dream, still without the scepter and still stuck in a palm tree on N. Sanity Island.Ithasmore wrote: Wed May 07, 2025 7:05 pm I stare in utter confusion as I watch Raygamer leave with the Crash Bandicoot crew, confused as to how video game characters came into the real world, before realizing something drastic: this world... Re: The Leptys Scepter Quest
Never played Crash Bandicoot, so if Salty Wharf is part of the beach I got knocked out on, I had no idea. Rip my Matrix dreams regardless. Anyways...
As I come back to conciousness, I stare at Cortex, whose still unconcious. I decide to loot him for any goodies I can find, and get his raygun! I sneak up to them in a conveniently placed submarine, and sneak up to the group while they jetskii. Once close wnough, I pop out of the submarine, and immediately shoot them, blasting them all away, with Raygamer dropping the scepter into the water from the impact! I grab the scepter, and swim away back towards the Glade of Dreams.

Re: The Leptys Scepter Quest
Salty Wharf is a different world/dimension from Crash 4, but still part of the Crash Bandicoot universe. Anyway…
Just then, Ithasmore gets the realization that he’s still in the Crash universe, so swimming back to the Glade is all but impossible! I respawn and drive on my jetski to you, offering a ride back to the Glade in exchange for the scepter. You agree to this, so I take the scepter, get you onto my jetski, and open a portal back to Rayman’s world. We re-emerge in the Dream Forest and part ways.

Re: The Leptys Scepter Quest
Just then, the scepter starts malfunctioning due to the battery going dead, which explodes and leaves you guys somewhere in The Tomb of the Ancients about to be attacked by numerous zombie chickens. Rayman and I happen to be going for a checkup there and fight them off and we all decide to go to the technical checkup to fix the scepter. Once it’s fixed I use the scepter to teleport everyone back to their homes safe and sound. Well except the scepter, who knows where that is.

Re: The Leptys Scepter Quest
One day, I decide to go treasure hunting in the Palace Ruins of Olympus Maximus. While using an ACME Search’n’Suck to detect gold nuggets and other goodies and suck them up into my backpack, I get a strong reading from a temple guarded by a Giant Minotaur. After a quick battle, I defeat it and end up finding none other than the Scepter of the Leptys! I grab it and teleport away to my hideout in the Bayou to stash away my treasures.

Re: The Leptys Scepter Quest
In the Bayou, you notice a Warship above your hideout, so you make a run for it with everything you own! That includes the Scepter. Unfortunately, you take a hit from the bomb and the Scepter is easy pickings for me!

Re: The Leptys Scepter Quest
Or at least it would be if it hadn't fallen into the piranha-infested waters. Once the warship leaves, I spend the next few days trying to use a fishing rod to get the scepter and my treasure back. I finally catch both of these prizes and teleport away to the Clearleaf Forest to build a (hopefully) less dangerous hideout.

Re: The Leptys Scepter Quest
While I’m strolling by I notice him teleporting away with the scepter, however not before I notice that his treasure box was open! Undaunted, I search the swamps and fortunately I come across some of the treasure and use it to buy a magic wand which I use to wish for a new Lepty scepter. Then I use it to warp to Clearfall Falls for a swim.

Re: The Leptys Scepter Quest
Luckily, the box was open but had nothing in it. No free treasure for you!
Anyhow, instead of the Clearleaf Falls, this Lepty Scepter teleports you to the Lepty Dimension, a strange world filled with hostile bird-like monsters sworn to destroy the evil “Jonster” (their ancestors mistook the name for “monster” and they’ve went with it ever since). Seeing you, these ferocious beasts beat you to a pulp and steal the scepter from you, planning to use it to rain terror on the world.
Sensing your cry for help, I teleport to this dimension and use my scepter to turn all of the beasts into boxes of Kentucky Fried Chicken. After destroying the Lepty Scepter, I teleport you back to Clearleaf Falls and I teleport away to the Tower of the Leptys to try and uncover the secrets of this scepter once and for all.

Re: The Leptys Scepter Quest
You teleport me to the wrong location and I end up in a waterfall in the Leptys world that sends me crashing into the Tower of the Leptys' roof. The resulting collapse of the roof accidentally gives you a concussion so I use the power of the scepter to send you and it to hte hospital for treatment while I conjure up another portal to Clearleaf Falls. When I finally reach my destination, I find a blue helicopter can with another Leptys Scepter inside!

Re: The Leptys Scepter Quest
Strangely, the scepter in the can seems to have taken the properties of the Throttle Copter. As a result, it flies away from you for about five seconds before falling off of the waterfall.
Meanwhile, having grown bored of this quest - especially since Greengoop and Ithasmore haven't partaking in it for two weeks now - I leave the hospital, take the scepter, and go home to watch Saturday morning cartoons.

Whilst you watch Saturday morning cartoons, you notice that Greengoop got his own show! (That’s why I was inactive, I was bribing the production companies with Green Day guitar picks) you are so amazed you call his number, and he happily picks up. Now you are overjoyed so you give him the Scepter and ask for a photo.

Re: The Leptys Scepter Quest
The photographer takes the picture and stuns the two of us with the flash, taking the scepter and running off with it. Thinking quickly, I grab a Lockjaw can and use the power-up to grab the scepter. Finally, I thank Greengoop for the picture and teleport away to the Jibberish Jungle.

Re: The Leptys Scepter Quest
However, once you get there, you see me, extremely baked from some mushrooms I ate to survive, having been lost in the Jungle ever since we got back! Once I see you, I charge at you with a makeshift spear, throwing at you and pinning your shoulder to a tree. I grab the scepter, and use it to finally teleport myself out of the jungle, and back to my home, where I go and clean myself up, before taking a nap, sleeping off the mushrooms.

Re: The Leptys Scepter Quest
Except this wasn't really your home! The hallucinogenic qualities of the mushrooms you ate make you mistake your house for the Rabbids' dungeon! When you wake up, Sergueï takes the scepter from you and locks you into the Rabbids' colosseum to perform dumb mini games for their enjoyment (and they don't give you any plungers afterwards, they know what Rayman did). Meanwhile, disguised as that Rabbid chief from RRR2, I take the scepter from Sergueï and use it to teleport away to Betilla's Garden (taking off the disguise once I get there).
Edit: Just realized this is my 500th post!

Unfortunately, Betilla spots you and though she greets you warmly, she then instructs you to finish the tutorial stages before you can enter the garden. Regrettably, you fail at piloting the maracas rockets, and on your 10th explosion you drop the scepter. Mr. Dark takes the opportunity to snatch the scepter after already stealing the Book of Knowledge.

Re: The Leptys Scepter Quest
Ah, Mr Dark, my old poker friend! During one of our poker sessions, he casually brings up taking over The Glade of Dreams, and how some limbless lad named Rayman is trying to stop him. Having heard of this, I suddenly pull out Raymans hands out of my bag, having found them! He offers me the scepter for the hands, which I gladly accept. I then use the scepter to summon myself Everyone whose currently active in this scepter fiasco, and give them a challenge. First one to stop Mr Dark, wins!

Re: The Leptys Scepter Quest
I accept this challenge! I rush towards Mr Dark, dodging past his fireballs and narrowly avoiding his lightning attacks. One of Rayman's hands punches me, but I grab the other one and tie the two hands together with chains. Finally, I bring out one of my flash pens and stun Mr Dark for just long enough for me to drop an ACME Family-Size Anvil on him, flattening him and forcing him to retreat. Having won the challenge, you have no choice but to give me the scepter!

Re: The Leptys Scepter Quest
Unfortunately for you, you didn't attack Mr Dark, it was his distant cousin, Mrs foggy! as you realize your mistake, Mr Dark bonks you on the head w,ith Raymans shoes, with the one's you used to make a weapon out of being just some regular sneakers. I, having watched this the entire time, just sigh, shaking my head, before walking away, throwing the scepter to the side and taking a nap.
