At this point I’ve dropped in ranking.

Not that it matters too much anyways. I still know I could get a higher score but it will take me awhile to get to speed again and my motivation isn’t there atm.

Sorry to say, but we don't really know either :oops2: the game is a giant mess at this point. I can give you some scores we know are possible, but whether they are the maximum? No idea. I'll add some notes for reference.

FC: 58.360
There's potential for 58.540, but anyone has yet to succeed in the required combo.

CF: 138.580
Our notes on CF are all over the place. The highest number I saw being mentioned was this one.

BOM: 112.150
This is a theoretical value, in practise you are forced to lose some points throughout the level. 112.100+ are possible for sure, but there's not really any properly calculated figure.

LOTLD: 133.889
A powerup runs out midway through the final combo, so with this one it's always gonna be a question of how many things you can get before that happens. From what I recall, 133.889 was already fairly optimised though.

DOTK: 125.989
There's a combo big enough for 127k+, but we currently lack the points to get there. A different approach in DOTK7 yields more points in total, but results in a lower "maximum" of 125.989.

LS: 45.640
This one should be maxed, unless something crazy is found.

SBTC: ???.???
You can theoretically chain kickflips together infinitely, so in theory the maximum would require going down to 9 points and doing kickflips until you hit the point barrier. That being said, 100k+ combos are unchartered territory, and we don't know whether the combo counter would break at 6 digits, much like the normal counter. 199.000+ should be possible either way, but this is the one level where we just don't know. The kickflip chains are down to RNG and noone in their right mind would try to get anywhere near 199k, so we'll never find out unless someone with access to the game's code can find the answer there.

HHQ: 122.609
Same as LS, maxed unless crazy new discoveries are being made.

TOTL: 127.229
(Almost) maxed, but potential for improvements worth a couple hundred points.

Not sure how helpful updating the max scores would be without walkthroughs to keep track of where to find the points, but there you go. One final thing I'll add is that some of these scores are the result of combos at almost TAS-level difficulty, so while they are possible, they are utterly impractical to go for in actual play. Might be worth adding as a footnote on the Wiki.

Wow, a theoretical score of more than one million (this is if I added the 199k for SBTC)....that would be a real eye opener if someone actually can manage to pull that off. :oops2:

Thanks a lot Maz, I have updated the wiki accordingly. I know there's no definite answer to some of those, but at least it should be way more accurate now. :)

Should we update the ting prizes for scores, since we’ve done that for the TTQ? So 1 ting per 10 points (900000 points = 90000 tings)

Somehow you have convinced me, and I am now under the impression that you would resort to sneaky methods on these contests if all the prizes were adjusted. I hope you do make honest attempts at them. :oops2:

This reminds me, I need to get a better score in R3. Haven’t touched the game in months!

Neither have I, but I'm not tempted to right away pick it up and play when I have other things to take care of first. Eventually though, yeah. Not satisfied with my current score.

Bump.

I actually did a little testing on Rayman 3 on my new laptop, my gosh the controls are now awkward for me on keyboard. I might need some practice before I go for my first score in awhile.

Weird to think that I’ve played Rayman 3 more recently than some of the dudes topping the leaderboard.

Don't see how that's weird unless you expect that every time a new player joins the ranks, they will beat all existing scores. :P

Just because you’d expect the bloke at the top of the leaderboard to be passionate about the game and play it practically daily.

Fair point, I’d just find it hard to walk away when you’re at the top.

So how do I get a new code to enter in the hall of fame?

How does that even work? I thought there were individual codes for individual scores?
