It doesn’t appear in more than one rayman game though! (Unless this was an annoying ol’ trick question
)

Sure it does; the Mechanical Dragon appears as a boss in Rayman: The Board Game's 5-6 player expansion!Greengoop wrote: Thu May 22, 2025 7:05 pm It doesn’t appear in more than one rayman game though! (Unless this was an annoying ol’ trick question)

The game isn’t out yet, so it doesn’t “appear” in it. I think we should make a rule prohibiting trick questions

It wasn't a trick question; just because the board game is upcoming doesn't mean it doesn't count, right?

It’s not really a traditional game though. With that logic, any nerdy made-up Rayman roleplay game counts as a game too.

Maybe not, but Rayman: The Board Game is officially-licensed by Ubisoft, so it technically counts as an official Rayman game.Greengoop wrote: Thu May 22, 2025 7:18 pm It’s not really a traditional game though. With that logic, any nerdy made-up Rayman roleplay game counts as a game too.

Re: Riddles of the Glade - Round 37
How was this a trick question? This is supposed to be a game of finding the answer using clues. There were a number of clues referring to Rayman Legends, your signature preferred game, and only one clue referencing Rayman: The Board Game, which you're free to disregard if you don't want to use that when coming up with a guess. You're just mad that you didn't win this riddle.Greengoop wrote: Thu May 22, 2025 7:14 pm The game isn’t out yet, so it doesn’t “appear” in it. Anyways, good job Ithasmore!

Re: Riddles of the Glade - Round 37
Maybe I should’ve used a better example. How about Phoenix’s Rayman 4. Not officially out, liscenced by Ubisoft and was a Rayman game, so we should count that too!

Re: Riddles of the Glade - Round 37
That counts in my book, but in that case we would use different language there; for example, "This character was meant to appear in a scrapped Rayman game." Not enough to give anything away, but still clarifying that it was in a Rayman game at one point.

Clue 1: this character was scrapped from its respective game.

Okay, then just say an “upcoming rayman game”, rather than making it a dodgy question, thank you

Re: Riddles of the Glade - Round 37
To be fair, he was referring to a character scrapped from Legends, not a character in a scrapped game. Gotta give credit where it's dueThe Jonster wrote: Thu May 22, 2025 7:52 pmImagine that being the game in your first riddle this round!Greengoop wrote: Thu May 22, 2025 7:45 pm Maybe I should’ve used a better example. Well that would've been too obvious; there aren't any other upcoming Rayman games that we know about other than the board game! (and the AAA 3D Rayman game, but the only thing we know about that is that it's in its early stages of existenceGreengoop wrote: Thu May 22, 2025 7:53 pm Okay, then just say an “upcoming rayman game”, rather than making it a dodgy question, thank you![]()

Okay? Well you’ll get more points in the long run if you just be honest instead of misleading the contestants to stay as the quiz master for longer?

Eh, guess we can reuse terms!
And sorry for getting annoyed with you Ray, I just really wanted to make sure your other rounds were more contestant-friendly.

Re: Riddles of the Glade - Round 37
No hard feelings Goop, I wasn’t trying to mislead anyone and I don’t care how long or short my time as the riddler, if you will, lasts per round.
(I can see the jokes about the Riddler from Batman coming already
)
I’ll try to be more clear with the clues in the following riddles - or maybe I’ll just leave the board game out of them unless I’m directly using it in a clue, i.e. “This character appears in Rayman: The Board Game.”
Anyway, the ball is in your court Ithasmore! Feel free to give out the next riddle whenever you’re ready.
