< is starting to think < should give the inside of their PC another good cleaning. It seems that sometimes the temperature gets so high that the performance of the microwave detector in the WiFi card gets seriously degraded

< heard on the grapevine that the power outages were caused by two wires falling off their insulators on the same pole. Funnily enough < had seen a wire fallen off an insulator in the next town last weekend, and phoned it in to prevent a major outage there. If only < had spotted the one in <'s own town, < would have been saved a lot of trouble

< only built a PC at Christmas and despite that, 2 months later the front fan filters had so much dust in them it was unbelievable. < needs to check them again with that being said.
