I remember it was once every seventy-something years. dr_st is probably right so I'll just say 78 because it's a different number

Re: The Teensies' General Knowledge Quiz – Season 11 - Pirez
Correct for the bonus! Although every single one of those things existed beforehand, massage, circumcision and corn flakes were massively popularized by John Kellog, who was unarguably a massive wacko.Rsandee wrote: Wed Jul 09, 2025 9:50 pm Cologne, Munich, Berlin and Bremen?

As for the capitals of Germany, I'm afraid you only got one out of four. Greengoop only gets two, but Bonn was the capital of Western Germany as a whole and I was referring to the respective capitals for the parties occupied by France, Russia, the US and the UK.
However, since I wasn't specific, I'll allow it (I'd be a hypocrit not to, after all : it was a capital)

Re: The Teensies' General Knowledge Quiz – Season 11 - Pirez
Berlin, Nuremberg, Hamburg and Frankfurt? And also Bonn?
Re: The Teensies' General Knowledge Quiz – Season 11 - Pirez
I asked for three and I received three. Hunch takes the cake.
Bonn was the federal capital for West Germany, Berlin was the capital for East Germany and also the capital for the Russian side.
Then, the headquarters were Baden-Baden (France), Bad Oyenhausen (UK) and Frankfurt (US).
Fun fact : my grandfather has been positionned in Baden-Baden after the war.

Why did Internet protocols go from IPV4 to IPV6, skipping IPV5 altogether?
(I am now skittish about the probability of withdrawing questions.)

Re: The Teensies' General Knowledge Quiz – Season 11 - Pirez
… Why tf do I not know this?
I only know why Netscape skipped 5, but my mind can't summon the corresponding info on IP versioning…
Re: The Teensies' General Knowledge Quiz – Season 11 - Pirez
Could it be that IPV5 had a major flaw in which it was very easy to track someone and their location online? It wasn't secure enough against hackers?
