Help me find Rayman and Super Mario backgrounds

Post by Teensies in Globox »

I started two projects where I collect transparent background images of characters and put them into a background, i.e. group artwork; one is Super Mario, the other is Rayman themed. I couldn't find a perfectly suitable background for either of them.

For the Super Mario themed group artwork, I need a background that is a field background from a Mario game (Ground level background according to the level types), in 3D (the best would be the background of one of the levels in Super Mario 3D World/Super Mario 3D + Bowser's Fury). I'll show you an example of this (although it's not from Super Mario 3D World/Super Mario 3D + Bowser's Fury); I need something like this, but without characters.

The background for the Rayman themed project should be the background of a forest (for example Dream Forest) or jungle (for example Jibberish Jungle) level from a Rayman game (it would be best if the background was from a UbiArt game).

Preferably, both backgrounds should have flat ground, no floating or different platforms from the base ground.

Another very important thing is that none of the backgrounds have any characters.

Thank you very much to everyone who helps!

It seems like no one is helping, but I still feel like there is hope.

Hello, I tried to find a Mario background first by using Mario Wiki and then through image searching, but to no avail. I thought I'd try looking around Nintendo's official sites related to Mario, and found this quiz (https://play.nintendo.com/activities/pl ... ll-survey/) which uses a Mario background as a separate element, meaning I was able to obtain a clean version of the background through inspecting page elements. It's a little small, so I'm not sure if you would be able to make do with it.

Edit: I looked some more and also found a Christmas/winter-themed background that looks more generic but still has some Mario elements such as the star atop the tree. In case you want it as well:

Edit 2: Regarding Rayman Legends, I don't know of any official resource which may contain full-quality backgrounds with no other elements such as characters. If you aren't able to find anything, you could try arranging stage elements yourself to create an official-looking background in the Legends universe using the background sprite elements. A site called the Spriters Resource has different elements from the game you could use for that purpose, found at https://www.spriters-resource.com/pc_co ... anlegends/. The ones which stand out to me are under the Levels category.

Thank you very much! I don't think the size of the images is the most important thing right now, since I can shrink the transparent background character/enemy images, so I can even place them further back to make them look like they're behind the other characters. I think the images look perfect and perfectly reflect the atmosphere I was expecting. The Christmas one also looks perfectly Mario-themed, since the Christmas tree contains decorations like the Super Bell, the Super Star, the Super Mushroom, and the like. I will also put a lot of flying enemies/characters on the image, thinking that not everyone will fit on the ground. I will also look at the Rayman Legends/Rayman Legends: Definitive Edition elements (as far as I know, they use the same ones in both games) and try to put them together, so I can even create my own background.

I'll be back soon.
