Ly Rayman 3 Redesign

As we know many ideas once brought forward for Rayman 3 were scrapped, Ly as a character in the game being one of them. Originally modelled by the talented Mhauss, an employee of Ubisoft who has done many renders for the Rayman franchise in the early 2000's, a Ly model was discovered in his portfolio in the form of a character sheet. While proof of Ly being planned for Rayman 3 was an amazing find for the community, I noticed a common trend of many fans wishing the design they were going to use for the game would better reflect her look from Rayman 2. Recently I decided to paint over the original character sheet to make her look how I would have personally liked her to look in-game. Along with the repainting of the original model I also added an alternative outfit for a hypothetical where she would get a new outfit like Rayman did. The dark blue lips and wide eyes were aspects I kept of her Rayman 3 design, but I also added an alternative for her Rayman 2 facial features. Here are the results:

Very cool, very cool indeed! I think the wide eyes work better in these poses. Narrow eyes worked for her role in Rayman 2, but in these poses I find they make her look kinda stoned!

You're welcome, Itzal! I appreciate that you like the updated outfit. Ly has such an iconic design that I didn't want to mess it up, but oddly enough the more I looked into hip scarves and harem pants like belly dancers wear, the more I felt it would suit her!

Oh no! Looking at it again I think I'm going to have to agree That or she went too heavy on the plum juice! Kick that habit, Ly, or they won't let you in another game ever again!

A stoned Ly hanging out with Romeo is actually an interesting idea.
