Re: Rayman: Alive
Didn't it start as an E3 substitute just for Ubi? Whatever happened to E3 anyway?

Re: Rayman: Alive
I think Covid killed the event if I'm remembering correctly, and publishers just got used to making digital presentations instead.

Yeah, that's what I thought. I wonder why they didn't bring it back properly…

Re: Rayman: Alive
Because company’s are greedy asf. I think they could’ve turned into a con for indie developers to share their games

Re: Rayman: Alive
It looked like an amazing event, and when I was younger I really hoped I could be there one day. However, since the Internet is more and more popular, investing money on a physical event, when they can announce their games online or in the own conferences, wasn't definitely worth it. It's a shame, ngl, the E3 looked amazing...

Re: Rayman: Alive
Yeah a quick look at the Wiki page reveals they they discontinued it altogether as they had to cancel it multiple times due to the publishers' current shenanigans, and difficulties like some of their usual partners no longer helping organizing the event...
At least, Gabe Newell no longer has to fear it.

Alive – we certainly are!
Actually Marge's pose at the end reminds me of me having been up for over 24 hours at this point

Oof, I certainly applaud your determination, it just takes me 12 hours to be beyond broken so I can't imagine how double that would feel!

Re: Rayman: Alive
I could've sworn I'd read about a potential E3 revival at some point, perhaps something else to look up once RD has concluded
Re: Rayman: Alive
Only 2 days left! What are you all excited to see this year?

Would I be classed as a smartass if I said yes?
There's a lot coming I'm excited to see, I'm also wondering if we'll be in for any surprises
