OK, let's get the ball rolling…

A theory I've seen before (probably not here) regarding BG&E is that the governor of Hillys from the first game is the same person as Shani in the BG&E2 trailers. I think it makes sense. If she and Pey'J worked so closely together in their youth, why wouldn't they settle on the same planet? Also, some of the remarks the governor makes during her brief appearance in the first game suggest she knows more about Pey'J than one might otherwise expect. She does express concern when she hears that the head of IRIS has disappeared, and seems amused when she realizes that nobody knew who he was until then.

Regarding the Solus Project, which I don't know if anyone here has even played, my theory is simply that everyone in the game speaks/writes Spanish in-universe, even though it's all presented in English in-game. The motivating reason is that the alien script seen throughout the game has a one-to-one mapping with our alphabet, and is used to write a language that the protagonist can read. It's absurd for this to be English, considering how non-phonetic and bizarre our orthography is – why would any alien race duplicate it in their script? Spanish, on the other hand, is written more or less phonetically, and so writing it with an alternative script would probably lead to a one-to-one mapping with our alphabet, just like this one.
Why would the player character speak Spanish? Well, this is a post-apocalyptic world where the Earth has been destroyed, and the remains of humanity are in some kind of space station at the edge of the Solar System, as the result of a UN initiative. Perhaps circumstances led to the choice of Spanish over the other five UN languages for the remains of society…
Why would the aliens use Spanish? I guess this is where it gets a wee bit complicated. My theory is that originally they used Náhuatl, which they brought to Earth when they settled a volcano in Mexico (as revealed in the previous game, The Ball) and imposed on humans (the Aztecs). There is at least one Náhuatl inscription in the alien script in the Solus Project, "Ixtelolotl" ("Eye"), on some big robotic eyes that drop from the sky. It is implied that the leader of the aliens on the planet in the Solus Project, known as A'Daar Suum, is the same guy who was released from the volcano at the end of the Ball, so it's possible that he was surveying the human population of Mexico for a few centuries, and decided, for whatever reason, that he preferred the language brought over from Europe (Spanish) to the one he had previously imposed on the population (anything's possible!).

Lastly, I also have one related to Scooby-Doo Mystery Incorporated, about why Velma liked Shaggy. I can't say it ever made sense to me that she was crazy about him, yet she tried to make him stop saying "like", wearing baggy pants (i.e. not caring about his appearance), and spending so much time with Scoob – you know, all the things that make us love him! Tortured young love, one might say, but maybe there's an alternative interpretation… as in, what if the object of her affections was not Shaggy at all, but another of her close friends, and she couldn't bring herself to admit it? Daphne, for one, certainly cares about her appearance, and the word "like" rarely crosses her lips. So what if Velma really likes her, but can't admit it to herself? It might also explain her utter dismay at Shaggy's "preference" for a talking dog over her – maybe it's about her own (possibly subconscious) preference for Daphne over Shaggy…
