Used to love playing Plants vs Zombies games, and kept up with Plants vs Zombies Heroes until the patch where they changed the rarity of cards for no reason other than greed.

I remember playing those Garden Warfare ones.

Oh I LOVE Astropop, but that's probably obvious due to my username, isn't it? That danger alarm gave me mild PTSD. I play Vector all the time. Gee, my irl alarm doesn't work to wake me up...Maybe I should change it to that, I'd wake up then for sure!
Zuma's a favorite of mine as well, I actually managed to complete it! Insaniquarium is always a blast too.
Heavy Weapon's not one we grew up with, but it was 2 player, so Chronic & I went nuts when we emulated it on a ps2 emu. I've never played plants vs zombies, though that might be in the grave by now...
Never heard of Bonnie's Bookstore until now...I do like Bookworm so I'd be decent at it at least.

See, everybody loves Bejewelled!
Naturally, the games of this series are still on my computer to this day. Also kept Bookworm series, Bonnie's Bookstore, and Pizza Frenzy.

I love Popcap, my siblings and I practically grew up on their games. Well, them and Big Fish Games.
Astropop - Used to play on Steam, but it was so busted I play it on the PS2 collection now.
Chuzzle - Too old/janky to work well on Steam and a bit boring, but I always liked it.
Dynomite - I still play this one. This poll is making me want to go a round or two!
Iggle Pop - I beat the whole game in one go. I liked it, very frantic and a fun story.
Insaniquarium - I was happy with the fish I've earned and don't put any more hours into it.
Peggle - I picked Peggle over Peggle Nights. I remember enjoying the original way more.
The Wizard's Pen - Really easy for me, though I really like the graphics in this one.
Venice - I forget if I actually finished this one. It was pretty challenging and fun though.
I actually own all of the above on Steam! My gramps had most of these on his old computer and I would play them all the time back then when he brought his work laptop home. So me buying them on my Steam account to keep them around on my PC was a no-brainer.
I played these two on those PS2 Popcap Collections with Cosmic.
Bejeweled 1, 2, and Twist - I've played Bejeweled just about everywhere. I even played the two mobile ones, Blitz and Stars.
Heavy Weapon - Incredible fun, I can second that. It was so idiotically patriotic that it was hilarious. I like the upgrade system too.
Plus it was just really fun to blow up the huge bosses with all the nukes you'd been saving the whole level.
Never heard of or played Escape Rosecliff Island, though. Looking into it, it reminds me of Ravenhearst. I have that on my Steam and 3DS.

Oh my gosh I forgot about Dynomite!!! Loved playing that game when I was younger.
I was more into discovering the fossils than anything.

The fossil mode is really cool, yeah. I like the museum aspect too. It gets really fiendish near the end in terms of difficulty! The Jonster wrote: Mon Aug 26, 2024 4:38 am Oh my gosh I forgot about Dynomite!!! Loved playing that game when I was younger.

I used to play puzzle and endless a lot as a kid. I like playing the classic mode nowadays, specifically on easy mode so I can rack up a ton of combos really quickly. I love watching the rain of colorful little stars from a bunch of combos!
Re: Do you like Popcap games? Ex: Peggle or Bejeweled
I've played and liked to various degrees the PC versions of the following PopCap games:
Zuma Deluxe, Zuma's Revenge, Bejeweled 1, 2, 3 (not Twist, though!), Heavy Weapon Deluxe, Plants vs Zombies.
I've also played Plants vs Zombies 2 on an Android phone quite extensively for a few months, then dropped it never to come back.
And I've played Bookworm on several trans-atlantic flights.
Of all these, the dearest to me are probably the original Zuma, the original PvZ, and Bejeweled 3.

Everyone tells me PvZ is literally the best mobile game. Do you think that I should get round to playing it?
Re: Do you like Popcap games? Ex: Peggle or Bejeweled
Mobile? Heck no. Play the PC version.
Just kidding, well, I am not sure what the differences between the PC and mobile versions are. However, the controls are definitely simple enough that they can work on a touch screen. So whatever works for you.

I guess so, and the iOS version is probably a lot more accessible

Nope, lol. I don’t even know what my point was with that one.
