Oh I thought it was about writing a fanfic/story about Rayman (or Rayman 1), which I would love to do!
It'd just be a matter of if I could come up with the ideas I needed in time, as that tends to be a real pain in the Assassin Ray with my creative endeavors...

Alright guys, we're about a week into September and we haven't done diddly-squat for Rayman's 30th anniversary. I say we should do something about that! Let's have a look at the prompts we collected from June:

• Screenshot Contest
• Rayman 1 theme + PFPs. Possible contest for the theme assets?
• Speedray feat. Rayman 1
• Speedray Fiesta, all games, EXTREME prizes. Potentially mini-RD event?
• General Game Challenges
• Revival of the Challenge of the Month thread
• Rayman 3 low-score challenge, in the vein suggested by (I think?) iHeckler
• Art Competition
• Writing Contest
• Community Quiz
• Rayman Redesigner level-making contest

Of the ones listed here, I think we should at least do the Rayman 1 theme and PFPs. Things like a writing contest and a Redesigner competition seem like good ideas to me as well.

One idea I had is that I could host a 30th anniversary quiz that really tests people's knowledge of Rayman's deep history; when a user answers a question correctly, they'd get 50 Tings. Perhaps there could even be a combo mode a la Rayman 3 that gives folks more Tings for consecutive correct answers...

That's such a clever connection, love it! It would be even more social if it were in a live-streamed video conference or something, but I guess that's out of people's comfort zone.

Please do the writing contest, I'd love to take part in that. When will it happen?
