Re: Cartoon Shows
Recently been binging Code Lyoko on Netflix. I haven’t watched the sequel to the original series but, I might want to rewatch the original in French first before taking that on.

Re: Cartoon Shows
Used to watch cartoon series when younger, I kind of lost interests on them nowadays, but if I have to mention some...
"Samurai Jack" was a weird, yet fascinating cartoon for me. Couldn't watch entire seasons due to school matters or my parents using the tv. Managed to see the whole final season and loved it to bits!
"Shinzo" was also one of these unique cartoons that I loved so much back then.
I remember "Rollbots" when it got aired (once) on our tvs back in 2011. The design of the characters caught my interest for it.
Then other shows like "One Piece", "Naruto", "Lupin the Third" and "Futurama".

Re: Cartoon Shows
Huh, I forgot we had a dedicated cartoon thread.
Gotta be honest, I've probably stopped watching cartoons as primary for a while now, but there are some mini-series and revivals I've been keeping tabs on. I think we've discussed the Futurama continuation in the dedicated Futurama thread so I won't dwell on that, but I don't believe we've got dedicated threads for the CN Renaissance era cartoons.
I've been slowly watching the new Gumball episodes for example, and they're very much as they were from the original series. I can see where they've been able to up production values, but on the whole it's like it never left. I've also heard they're planning on continuing Regular Show, which I'll be awaiting with great interest. I am a bit miffed they cancelled Close Enough - it felt a little more relatable to someone who grew up with Regular Show, but I spose it's a far narrower audience. Finally I'm excited for Season 2 of Fionna and Cake, I was initially a bit sceptical but honestly it felt like a good more adult version of regular AT but with a more serialised format. Hopefully that'll continue with Season 2.
Also dabbled a bit with Bob's Burgers, it's nice background TV but I'll admit I haven't actively followed it and I've fell off in an attempt to marathon the series. Might pick that up again if this existential dread starts to get too debilitating and I need something to take my mind off everything.

Re: Cartoon Shows
You can, though I wonder if the dedicated Simpsons thread may prove a better locale.

Re: Cartoon Shows
If you're worried about double posting but still want to bump the thread, just copy and past the original post, and combine it with what you wish to post. Delete the original post and then submit the new combined post.
Alternatively, since I'm here, I'll bump the thread for you and you can have at it.
