882 pieces! (the original trilogy is among our favorite movies)
Correct! We love these movies as well :)
Sorry Master, I would've awarded the point if I didn't see anyone else get a closer answer when I checked again today.
Fun fact: Due to a technicality in how I formulated my question, I would've awarded half a point if anyone would've answered "0", since the pirates stole all the coins at some point (not to mention how I fumbled the name of the movie even).

Question 3: NASA's Perseverance rover recently discovered so-called "leopard spots" on a rock on Mars, which when analyzed were really difficult to explain without considering potential life on Mars via a null-hypothesis. Why do we care? Why do we invest so much money to find life on Mars? Give at least three implications what confirmed life on Mars (no matter whether past or present) could mean for us. The first person who gives me at least 3 correct answers gets the point.

Question 1: What character(s) does Mike Myers play in the Austin Powers trilogy? Answer: Austin Powers, Dr Evil, Fat Bastard, Goldmember (Master)

Question 2: How many pieces of cursed Aztec gold coins were in the treasure chest on Isla de la muerta in the movie Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest? Whoever gets closest to the exact value will get the point (± 25, might loosen this restriction if this question turns out to be too difficult), if someone gets the exact value I will of course immediately award a point. Haha I'm not gonna get tilted, dr_st got that down to the exact amount and I gotta commend him for remembering that detail!

I'm gonna give this a shot but my answers are not rooted in any sort of peer review but by my own sorta perspective. Obviously the biggest one I think is showing there is potential for us to not be alone in the universe. From a historical point of view, it could help in research determining if Mars was ever habitable for life, and I think for us in the present and future, it could help determine how livable Mars could be as a future colony.

1 out of 3 is correct if I'm being lenient, but really I'm kind of inclined to say 0 out of 3 are correct. If one of these were worded differently/explored more deeply I would definitely say it's correct.

Alright I'll elaborate a bit more why I didn't find these answers to be that relevant, since a day has passed. If I'm not supposed to double post as the quiz master this will be the last time I'll do so.

Life on Mars doesn't necessarily mean Mars is, was or would be habitable to humans. The idea that we could colonize or terraform Mars holds water regardless of whether we would find signs of life on Mars.
The sheer size of the universe (which is also several orders of magnitude larger than the size of the known universe) is enough to give us a strong sense that we are not alone in the universe (this is the answer that needs to be explored more deeply in order to be correct). Life also doesn't necessaril mean there are humanoid aliens out there, it could appear as small as a bacterium.
If we could find signs of life on Mars, we could determine if Mars was ever habitable for life is circular reasoning. This answer would need to be reframed in order to be correct. The point of this question after all is: why do we care if Mars was ever habitable for life or not?

The answers I'm looking for aren't that technical. Just try to think logically and maybe philosophically, I'm not looking for any hard scientific facts here.

Everyone can answer again.

Nope. The answer has nothing to do with anything specific in science.
It's not about having more land, it's about the origin of life and whether we are alone or not, or where we might come from.
I'm practically giving the answers away now so perhaps someone can give the 3 answers I'm looking for. I'll lower the requirement to 2 if it's still too difficult.
Everyone can answer again.

It can allow us to see how life evolves in real time, it shows that other planets might also have life in them that we could potentially attempt to contact, and it can help us see how life was even created in the first place?

First of all, there are lots of theories about life spreading between or coming from a different planet, it could be a confirming or refuting one of the theories. Secondly, the carbon-dependent life forms are accepted by default majorly, it may lighten about this, too. Depending on the discovery, it could be observed any other element dependent, a new research areas would be leaded, consequently. Finally, the nature of the discovery can lead the scientists to focus on a new branch of a life form missing from the picture so far. Something like this could be a bridge between what is known and what is speculated. Whether it is a small or big, it is a breakthrough to understand one of the oldest questions in our history.

Correct! One of the big things they're looking into is the possibility of some sort of "bridge" connecting life on Mars and life on Earth, via an asteroid for example. It would explain how frequent life could be in the universe and whether we are a cosmic oddity or whether life is far more common than we think. Life on Mars could definitely also have been dependent on a different element than carbon for instance, which could be a breakthrough as well as silicon lifeforms are theorized on very distant planets, but this would probably not be that likely on Mars. Whatever we find, it would recontextualize how we look at life on Earth and that could open up many doors to many branches we are yet unable to see as we still don't know yet.
Thought nobody would get it for a second there!

You had it but you just had to mention Spain didn't you.

The answer is Belgium, since that is the one that has the most evidence supports. There are some rumours that it originated in the north of France, so I gave you your chance to earn your point (it was the most detailed) but since you also answered Spain I can't give it to you. From what I can tell, the French fries that originated from France are more likely "potato wedges dipped in fat".

American soldiers in WW2 gave French fries the name "French" fries because Belgian soldiers stationed there spoke French. Poor Belgian farmers deep fried potatoes centuries ago to mimic fish, the issue here is that both events could've occurred around the same time but that the French most likely just dipped them in fat.

It is a controversial debate, but Belgium was mentioned first anyways.
