Hmmm, now you got me thinking of what SMG2 music I like, since SMG1 is more my thing. This is curiously the first one to come to mind.

I don't think either Soundtrack quite edges itself out to me one over the other. I think I prefer some of Galaxy 1's takes on things, such as the Star Get and Grand Star chimes, as they use synths as opposed to being orchestrated, and while both takes are fine, I think the synth works better for that celestial vibe.

Oh sorry, I meant in terms of playing the game, I prefer playing SMG1 over SMG2. I think both soundtracks are on equal footing as it is.

Ahh I see, yeah I think I've probably replayed Galaxy 1 more than I have 2, though that's partially down to the fact that Galaxy 1 got ported...I'll probably be playing Galaxy 2 again for the first time since the Wii thanks to it finally getting a port...but I'm not enthused about the asking price.

A song about flights for 50p, which I'm now re-listening to as I read Úna Mullally's article in today's Times, which includes the lines:

Add on the taxes, charges, and carrier imposed fees and it comes to €330.46. The real price for the customer is therefore €331.46 – but Aer Lingus is selling that return flight for €1.

The song was always considered to be about Ryanair, but now it seems Aer Lingus are reading from this playbook in a very real way!

Surprisingly, I actually haven't played SMG1 or SMG2 yet. I know I wanted to while I used the Wii (I still have it, but it's been a while since I brought it back out), but I never got around to buying them for some reason, and by the time I got a Switch 1, Super Mario 3D All-Stars had vanished from the face of the earth. Despite the - to put it lightly - costly price for the upcoming bundle, I'm personally still going to pick it up once it releases.
