Re: The You Game!
< doesn't always have dreams like this, but < recalls having another similar one at some point a few weeks back, though less wild. < isn't sure what it's trying to teach <, < already knows not to trust strangers, especially odd looking ones.

< hopes that ^ looks forward to that.
< is also waiting for that door lock in the mail. < isn't sure if it will be here tomorrow or Wednesday. Hopefully one of them.

< is strongly reminded of the scene in Mulholland Drive where Naomi Watts similarly says "more than anything in the world". It doesn't work out well for herEdgyRabbid wrote: Mon Sep 29, 2025 2:58 pm Maybe it’s <s over wanting want for Ubisoft to die because of the treatment of their employees. < really really really wants that. Re: The You Game!
< is now going down a rabbit hole, thanks to ^ talking about BG&E. < is sad that < missed out on the initial Limited Run Preorders over it, since < wasn't really aware of that.
< Did see the Anniversary Edition is on sale on Steam right now, though!

Re: The You Game!
Regarding the post from ^^^ that was on the previous page. < doesn't think all of Ubisoft as a whole are bad, there were only certain studios that had issues. So the studios that did nothing wrong should be held accountable and the entire company should die? That doesn't make sense to <. < thinks that's like getting food poisoning in one McDonald's restaurant, then saying the entire chain should be shut down. This would lead to all employees losing their jobs, just because one of their restaurants had bad practices and messed up, while it had nothing to do with the employees (or even employers) in the other ones at all.

Re: The You Game!
< just has a lot of other problems with Ubisoft as a whole. The tech teacher at <‘s school has a cousin that works at Ubisoft Montreal. < remembers he came into <‘s special Ed’s classroom and complained about thw working conditions there.
It’s just a personal opinion of <. < would rather not support Ubisoft but < won’t judge anyone for buying their games.
< also has a problem with how Ubisoft is pushing for games not to be supported once the no longer make money off of it.

Re: The You Game!
< says that's fair. ^ is definitely not the only one to have a problem with them. < is sure there are some studios from them which had no issues of the likes though. However, < will also respect that others have their own opinions. < just never likes the thought that there are usually band wagons, aka, others hating things just because several others seem to. As long as it's not a case like this, < thinks it's fair.

Re: The You Game!
After <'s remark earlier, < realized that it has been exactly six months and one day since < actually watched Mulholland Drive. In some senses, < can't believe it's been so long, in others < can't believe it's been only six months!

< went ahead and got BG&E 20th Anniversary Edition on Steam, < played a little bit and < is enjoying it!
Re: The You Game!
< is going to try this out too, especially given it's on sale.

< has been quite the influence on ^ a lot, apparently.
Re: The You Game!
< didn't even know the game was out, or on sale. < has been pretty much out of the loop on games, though < knew that < wanted this one. Thanks to ^ for mentioning it.
< also wanted the Soul Reaver remake that came out last year, though < for some reason never actually tried it.

Re: The You Game!
< Says the ultimate thanks go to PluM, since that's what caused < to get this to begin with.
Re: The You Game!
< says thanks to Plum then. < does own the game on GoG, but < wanted to have a PS2 copy or something as well for the sake of it. < now has the new version on Steam version as well, and it wasn't expensive, so why not.
Re: The You Game!
< got BG&E also due to Reese's suggestion. It was on sale so it was a no brainer to <. Also < got Rayman 1 for the speed running contest going on in the forum. However, < will be playing some Final Fantasy Tactics tonight if it releases on midnight.
Re: The You Game!
< thinks it makes sense, it was 40% off, so why not. < thinks that < will be absolutely awful at Rayman 1 when it comes to speedrunning, though < will see if < is in the mood to even just try submit something for the sake of it. < will be as rusty as an old bike that was left in the back garden in the rain for years though.
< hopes ^ enjoys playing Final Fantasy!

Re: The You Game!
< sees the BGE bug is going around, < hopes that you guys enjoy the game as much as < did! < streamed a little bit of the game awhile back with ^ and a mutual friend of ours in another server (it was a test whether <'s computer could handle streaming on Discord). Come to think of it, < missed one thing while < was playing the game so < plans to go back to the area to finish up.

Oh, so ^ was also inspired by Plum? < first played BGE during <'s first year here (7 years) and it was Plum who influenced < to play the game. Lemme just say, < really enjoyed the game. < even collected all the extra blue spheres of light before heading for the end area <'s second time around (< doesn't want to spoil too much). And.......< admits that < finds Jade freaking hot. (There Pirez < said it ok)Reese Riverson wrote: Tue Sep 30, 2025 2:59 am < Says the ultimate thanks go to PluM, since that's what caused < to get this to begin with.![]()
Re: The You Game!
< has also promised to stream BG&E for the RPC after <'s relocation. The promise happened during RD on the french forums, though, so it's possible that nobody remembers.
< continues to draw a lot. While Pokémondaying (yes, it's a verb now) < was awarded Suicune, which < already did three years ago. Comparing the two has been really encouraging. < had the feeling that progress stalled.
On an unrelated note : <'s ab tattoo really hurt. There's so much friction around these parts of the body...
