It is indeed a great game. I love this one.

Nice collection there, I like how you have all those Game Boy boxes. I look forward to seeing the collection as it grows. :D
neo wrote: Mon Sep 29, 2025 11:31 pm I saw an idea to go on this. Instead of using a Tablet, use a DVD player. It'll stimulate their minds, however they can't interact with it beyond watching DVD's, or Blurays, etc. If those exist, I hope.
For me, it was a VHS player, or just simply watching the TV. Maybe that's just it though, all you do is watch there (rather than press things), but also, you are watching on a big screen. You might have people interact with you while watching, rather than give yourself myopia before your eyes are even ready yet, and pretty much don't learn any social skills at all while your brain is still developing. For example, if I watched those kid shows when I was really young, my dad would usually react if someone made a mistake in the show like "oh, he's very silly isn't he". I think this is better than putting a tablet 10cm from their face and having them act like there is no world around them, while these are the important years for them, their overall development and who they will be when they grow up.

Super Mario World and Donkey Kong Country??? Yeah I think we’re going to get along great :D

I wouldn't have anything to do with such a person. Why would I want anything to do with jonstwr. They probably call door to door selling carpets. :mefiant:

Noting that both Steo and Jonster have the same rank has now made me realise that Globox is a lot lower in the ranklist than I'd expect. Considering he's become the Luigi of the series, to have him ranked lower than the Fairies/Nymphs is an interesting choice.

I mean. Barbara is a big playable character and she’s consideredly low. I’m still working for Edith up here! And I still have to gain a large amount of tings!

I'm just happy it's that low, because that's the rank I want to use. Plum designed the new rank list also.

I’m sorry but who exactly is jonstwr? I know no such person, maybe they play Rayman 3 on the PS2 when they have no internet! :P

Barring all the side games and cameo appearances, one mainline game appearance does not equate to “big playable character” to me, just saying.

Edit: Damn you reference tags

Yeah I don't really see them as a big character, more of a princess in a UbiArt game. Globox had been around since Rayman 2, very recurring. Very closely related to Rayman also. It does make it surprising he's that low on the list, but I'm not going to complain! :P

It always makes me laugh when someone posts on a group chat or something to notify people they can’t sleep. Like they sure won’t at this rate.

Cutting notifications between 23:00 and 6:00 really improved my diet my sleep quality

When I was younger some prankster loved calling me at 3AM when shitfaced. Aaaaaah, friendships...

Now it's better because my sister loves to share memes but she lives on the other side of the earth.

To be fair, if I'm complaining about not being able to sleep, it's usually after a sustained (2hrs minimum) attempt at sleeping to the point where boredom has proven to be an insufficient stimulus to the act of sleeping. Effectively it's surrendering the attempt and just waiting for exhaustion to do the job.

Not a healthy approach mind, it's why I've started talking up reading comics if it comes to it.
