Maybe I could buy it just to play with my friends since it's the only way I am able to enjoy this kind of game :)
I don't mind playing Mario Party alone or with others either way. The advantage for me of playing alone against other computer players is that I can play for much longer turns and reset in the event something goes horribly wrong (damn you chance time). When I play with other people, it's more fun but I usually have to play less turns and I have to play fair.

I don’t “main” anyone when I play it at the arcade. Though I usually like to go DK.

Hot take (because MK8 is amazing in its own right) : Double Dash was the peak of MK.

People being nostalgic for 3D Land while I'm nostalgic for the likes of Galaxy is certainly one way to realise my elderliness.

I don't think I've actually played 3D Land, I've done 3D World, but despite owning a 2DS I've never felt the inclination to play 3D Land. Perhaps I ought to, I've kinda fizzled out on the last game I was playing...

Gosh I can't believe Galaxy is soon going to reach 20 years old in a couple years. I remember when I first played the game, I had to exchange it for another copy at the store since the ending wasn't playing.

Haha funnily enough I think I have a similar story. I got the game used and actually had to take it back because it wasn't starting. I think I ended up getting the same copy being given back, they just put in their disk cleaner tool.

I don't remember what happened to that copy of the game, I suspect it was sold on but time blurs my memory on that one.

Ah. Well 3D World always did feel like a more expanded and refined 3D Land from what I've seen as the two, so I suspect there's some crossover.

3D Land I think is the only retro 3D game I have yet to try out. Odyssey is still relatively new, even though I have the game.

The terms and conditions, they must now play 3D Land lest the Nintendogs are unleashed to enact furious vengeance for such their sins.

On a more serious note, I do wonder if we'll ever see a port of Mario 3D Land in the future. Or if it'll be cursed to be forever locked to 3DS land, like Guns of the Patriots to the PS3...

I'm hoping it will be rereleased eventually, since it's the only 3D Mario game I know of that I don't own physically at this point.
