It's funny, I read articles about this but I can never remember the city. My brain brought up Calcutta, but I say that with very little confidence.

Benares is correct! I'm more used to the name Varanasi but it seems even Wikipedia prefers the name Benares.

Re: The Teensies' General Knowledge Quiz – Season 12 – Rsandee
In the book Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, there are seven challenges guarding the Stone: Fluffy the dog, Devil’s Snare, flying keys, Wizard’s Chess, a troll, a potion riddle, and the Mirror of Erised. The movie simplifies this to five, removing the troll and Snape’s potion riddle for pacing and visual reasons.
Re: The Teensies' General Knowledge Quiz – Season 12 – Rsandee
Correct! On a semi-unrelated note: removing the troll in the dungeons kind of ruins the purpose of the escaped troll in the movie and just makes it look like a random escaped troll. That has always irked me about the movie.

China, Nepal and India are 100% correct.
Bhutan must be the 4th country, the buddhists are there and I remember the red pandas were associated to those places
I'd have said Bangladesh as the 5th one, but I'll go with Birmania since it's relatively close.

For the bouns question, can we list stuff like gods and such or does it have to be creatures? because I am almost certain I know at least 20.
Re: The Teensies' General Knowledge Quiz – Season 12 – Rsandee
Depends. Haha I'll try to explain: some gods like Zeus are depicted as just human or humanoid, while some creatures seem like gods but are officially treated as beasts/monsters as they pose a powerful threat to the gods of Olympus. You can mention those by name and they would count!EdgyRabbid wrote: Wed Oct 08, 2025 9:40 pm For the bouns question, can we list stuff like gods and such or does it have to be creatures? because I am almost certain I know at least 20.

Re: The Teensies' General Knowledge Quiz – Season 12 – Rsandee
They count! They are embodiments of the elements if I recount correctly, even if they are sometimes depicted as humanoid in popular media they are nowhere near human.EdgyRabbid wrote: Wed Oct 08, 2025 9:48 pm What about the Titans? Edit: okay so there is some controversy surrounding this because they are depicted as humanoid, it seems that there is a distinction between "titans" and "primordial gods". Gaia was a primordial god, not a titan, therefore Gaia should count as the titans were humanoid. I answered your question with primordial deities like Gaia in mind.

I know there are some people who've played TES games here, as I've seen some TES-related questions in the video game quiz. I will lower my standard before the end of the weekend if it's not answered by then.
