Not sure if I'd call this a vacation per se, but I'll be in New York from today 'till Sunday. Not sure how much that'll affect my activity here, but just so you guys know.

Uhh, is this supposed to be a joke? I’ve been back home for more than a month now. :oops2:

Sounds like an amazing trip! How long will you be there?

Meanwhile, I'm still annoyed that I could only ski for one day this year. :mefiant:

Still sorry about the leg, missing out on the whole season must've not been fun. Hopefully you'll maybe find time to go once more this year!

Sounds amazing! I really need to visit that region too.

As for another ski trip this year... I could probably find the time, but I don't think I can find somebody to go with me on such a short notice, and I don't really care enough to go alone. :fou2:

Just drank 3 glasses of wine and ate a whole pizza before getting lost for an hour in a town in the mountains, and then had to make pancakes for my family; I've never felt more like an American tourist than right now :hap:

Anyways, here are some photo's that I've taken so far!
IMG_6491.jpeg
Took this while on a walk through the town i've been staying at for the last couple days, I think it looks beautiful! It's upside down on my end for some reason, and I have no clue how to fix it!
IMG_6499.jpeg
Always loved waterfalls, and I also always loved caves. Now I get the best of both worlds, a waterfall flowing into a cave! It looked unreal in person, and is probably my favorite part of the trip, aside from the skiing.
IMG_6502.jpeg
Got this photo atop a castle after climbing my way into a random nook. Could've died, almost fell once, but the photo was worth it.
IMG_6503.jpeg
While atop a fortress, I snagged a photo of the town I was in. Surrounded by water, and crowded with buildings, it was definitely a favorite of mine.
IMG_6504.jpeg
Took this while on a gondola at the ski resort, the views atop the mountains are unlike anything I've seen before. As someone who lives in the American Midwest, an area not particularly known for it's ski resorts, this has been an amazing experience for me! I've only skiied on mountains like these once before... Also in Italy, but I've forgotten how amazing it is. Out of the nearly 100 routes in the area, theres really only a couple real stinkers, most of which are avoidable (the only unavoidable one being the only route leading to the bottom of one of the mountains (theres like 5 different mountains available!!!) which slows to a drag :mefiant:), and others are legitimately my favorites of all time, Spinale direttissima, Amazzonia, and Fis 3-TRE being my top 3! Basically, this is one of my favorite places I've ever been to!

All in all, I'm having the time of my life. The pizza is as good as people say, the mountains were more beautiful than I expected, and im just having a great time. If I had to rank this trip, I'd put it as my second favorite ever, behind my summer trip to Colorado. Probably shouldn't be drinking that much wine, or staying up past 3, like I have done every night, but it's a vacation, give me a break! :P

Such an amazing trip! From the seaside to the mountains, you've covered quite a lot in just a week. I haven't seen this part of Italy, but it's definitely on my list.

By the way, where did you go in Colorado? I was only there for a couple days in 2018 but there's so much more to see that I'd happily go back. :)
