What can I say, Sonic music is just infectious!

Team Chaotix's theme is definitely the theme I'd listen to the longest, followed by Team Dark's.

If I'm being honest, I think I'd probably listen to Team Rose's theme just about as long as Team Dark's. This Machine has a strong intro (the part before the first verse) and main chorus, but the rest of the song kind of falls flat. Meanwhile, Follow Me is consistently good, but never really great at any point. In any case, I prefer both of them to We Can (not sure how Team Sonic got stuck with the worst theme, but that's how it goes) and, of course, Team Chaotix beats them all!

While I do vastly prefer This Machine as a former teen edgelord of culture, I do agree when it comes to Follow Me, good all the way through but it doesn't matter have much of a part that does stand out... And it's indeed so Amy-focused, that it feels like a sort of "matured" sequel to My Sweet Passion.
...Meanwhile, We Can feels like the baby first's song equivalent of It Doesn't Matter for Sonic Heroes. The best Sonic nursery rhyme for your nearest Chao kindergarten!

(OH COME ON, MONEYTUBE, CAN YOU FRICK OFF WITH THAT BUGGY AGE VERIFICATION GARBAGE ALREADY!? I'M PRETTY SURE I'M OLD ENOUGH FOR A FREAKING CARTOON ANTHROPOMORPHIC HEDGEHOG!! )

Well that's a blast of nostalgia. Frog Forest is an interesting track because it's got the stereotypical rock vibes of Jun Senoue, but it's also remarkably chill sounding at the same time. While I really do like modern Sonic music all the same and composers like Tomoya Ohtani have a good breadth of variety of tracks, there is still a part of me that misses the "Dreamcast era's" musical aesthetic. They really need to keep Jun Senoue away from composing retro style tracks though...

I do miss the late 90s/early 2000s' Jun Senoue rock, but if there's indeed something I can always say for Sonic is that I consistently love every era of music in that franchise, regardless of the style! ...
