(Especially the last Armada series, the M700 series, I found them for cheap. They don't sell like before though, so trouble may arise.)

With that, < would offer a free Windows XP Home Edition upgrade if they wished, and <'d test that wireless-G notebook card, that didn't want to work on <'s ThinkPad 770ED, on it, and ship it with it if it works. It actually seems like a nice, kind-of business-y thing < could start.
