"Your grandmother wants you getting a haircut to be her christmas present", so she was using her cancer to try guilt trip me to get a haircut.
Well that's so messed up
TriangulumDelta wrote: Wed Nov 19, 2025 11:07 pmHe said I'll need to cut my hair to get a job and that "We all have to grow up sometime."
Well that's BS, I got myself a job out of college with lovely long hair, and I know quite a few others who did too So that's definitely not worth listening to
They used to say the same about having a skinhead, and even had talks on the news at one point of not letting skinheads into schools. I mean, let people have their hair the way they want to, it's their body. If someone wants hair down to their knees, or just none at all, I think that's fair.

I don't believe I've ever been to a synagogue… Was it an interesting experience?
It was super neat, I got to check out some Torah scrolls, and some other cultural articfacts, the rabbi there showed me a Shofar, which is a ram's horn that's usually played at Rosh Hashanah (Jewish new year). I love learning about other cultures and religions and such, so I found it super interesting!
Put it in a randomiser and hit that wheel until something takes your fancy?
It's a struggle I'm all too familiar with to be fair, I have a fair amount of games I've picked up over the years, but I always seem to go for the ol' reliables...
- I've got a bad feeling I'm about to have an eczema flareup...
Am I the only one who doesn’t have this condition around here? Despite having dry skin myself!

I know this feeling very well, given how I’m on an endless Mario Kart cycle. Though I do get other games done in between, those games are consistently around.
I have it non-stop on both of my hands. Even sometimes on my scalp and around my eyes. It just never goes away. It flares up whenever it wants to, and my hands are usually the worst. I can only assume it's because they're exposed to soap the most?
I should be intelligent enough to use my own special soap that's unfragranced or something and just bring it to the bathroom or whatever when I need it.
Soap, hot water and cold weather are an absolutely lethal combination for hands! Some people (my mother included) have no problem washing their hands with detergent, which is even worse: I'll never understand how they manage it…

Detergent. Well that's a new way to clean(?) hands.
- Woke up early, thought it was too early, and when I woke up the next time it was 11 again. Sigh......
+ Did some work organizing on my VMs last night. Should be done within the next day or so if i focus enough.
+ Tempted to play some Rayman games again.

To clarify, I mean dishwashing detergent (Fairy liquid), not laundry detergent!

Oh, I can do that as well without any consequences, but when it comes colder wind or cold water I'm getting dry skin on some parts and they prickle. I really hate it
+ Tomorrow is finally a free day and I can rest
+ I'm getting a poster next week!
- I'm being moved to another library at the beginning of December - I just like the one I'm at too much

I don't know the size of the poster, because my co-worker randomly said there's a few new posters from Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood at the manga shop and she said that there's one I might be interested because there's Envy on it - my fave character - and I just asked her to buy me it since she lives close to said shop. She did, I'm gonna the poster on Monday and give her the money back!
Rayman-related, God I wish! Honestly when I think about it... I would pay a lot for a poster from Rayman 3. Just gimme André on it and I'll be the happiest person on this planet

Oh I see, I tend to call fairy liquid “dishwashing soap” so that was confusing when you said detergent since I usually think it means laundry detergent.
