That is a big plus, definitely. It makes the Atari Jaguar version actually accessible outside of...Ya know, actually owning a Jaguar. With that mircowave menu of a controller face?Mortamon Saturn wrote: Fri Feb 13, 2026 12:58 pm Would also be cool if there's any music/sound this time!
Similarly, it's great to see the Atari Jaguar release and Rayman 60 levels finally being ported in a very accessible form after so many decades!![]()
The fan made level packs are a nice surprise too! I've never played them either. I might follow Cosmic's route and get this on Steam instead the Switch - I like hunting for achievements, something the Switch doesn't have. I only get exclusives on the Switch and everything else on Steam.
I'm hoping the SNES proto does get something, since the trailer got all chiptuneish at that part. It'd be weird to not have even a little sound.
Plum should put that in the collection. Probably the truest words spoken about the RPC feels collectively about the current state of affairs.Mortamon Saturn wrote: Fri Feb 13, 2026 12:57 am I'll always keep saying it: a classic platformer franchise as legendary as Rayman which is so impactful for Ubisoft's history deserves a full course meal, not bread crumbs after over a decade of nearly nothing.
Yes we can be happy with what we have (and I am right now for once), but we should always strive for more, not settle for less.
I completely forgot you had a YouTube channel, two actually! I threw them both a sub since good channels are hard for me to find these days. Gotta feed the unmonetized channels so good no ad bs content can exist and thrive in a YouTube full of ai slop and propaganda clickbait.Mortamon Saturn wrote: Fri Feb 13, 2026 12:57 am Am I gonna boycott the collection because I'm disappointed for the music? Heck no! Unless you actually butcher all of R1's identity, no force in the universe can stop Mortamon Saturn from buying his first video game again ad vitam æternam like the two-faced hypocrite he truly is!![]()
I'm even gonna do a playthrough as soon as I can, and yes, I'll cover EVERY version included, whether my viewers can stomach the Rayman 1 overdose or not, NO ONE is stopping me!![]()
