Well, what I can say is you've got two of them correct, given this one is stumping people, I will allow you to go ahead and give a retry with this one.
However, if no one can give a more accurate answer within a day, the point will go to Dave!

Re: The Teensies' General Knowledge Quiz – Season 13 – Reese Riverson
Dave nailed it! Technically twice as I didn't consider Kenwood to be the ones that went all in on the "Watt Wars" in the end but I probably should have.
See, Kenwood themselves made the Kenwood KR-9600, which was a powerful stereo receiver in its own right with delivering 160 watts per channel into 8 ohms.
However, there were four brands that exceeded this greatly:
The Pioneer SX-1980 delivered 270 watts per channel into 8 ohms, then we have the Marantz Model 2600 and the Sansui G-33000 that delivered 300 watts per channel into 8 ohms. The least common one, finally being the Technics SA-1000, that delivered 330 watts per channel.
Here's an interesting video I found on the topic for anyone interested:
Personally in my own collection, I do have the Pioneer SX-1980 and the Marantz Model 2500, which is the younger brother to the Marantz Model 2600. My Model 2500 still delivers a powerful 250 watt per channel output into 8 ohms. To this very day many of these are still in operation, despite being well over 40 years old, with proper restoration, these units can last a long time.
Season 13
Question 12
Name the city and state that the widest and most powerful tornado was ever historically recorded within the United States.
Bonus:
To piggy back with the above, bonus points will be rewarded for anyone who can also give the exact month, day, and year this event occurred, the maximum width in miles / kilometers, the estimated wind speeds, and the official rating given by the National Weather Service.

The days of only having sub-100 watt per channel receivers choices were gone thanks to these big players in the industry.
Name at least three of these companies (brands) that participated in the Receiver Wars.

Did not think of Pioneer
When I hear that name, I just think of optical drives for PCs!
By the way, I realized the other day that I still have that failed transistor from my old Sansui. Maybe one day if I'm feeling brave and the lab is quiet, I could attempt to decap it with fuming nitric and look at it on the SEM to see what really happened there
