We've entered the margin, as the final count is actually 46! What a prolific man.

QUESTION 7 : Remember Youtube annotations? The feature where you could click anywhere on a video and it could transfer you to a specific link?
A lot of content creator used it creatively, and this includes the very famous french Youtuber Frédéric Molas (Joueur du Grenier) for his alternate channel Bazar du Grenier.
In one of his subserie (Jeux en vrac), he parodied a very well known videogame sequence, using an annotation at the very end. However, the annotation feature was scrapped in favour of 20-seconds endings. Therefore, to keep the shtick, he commissionned a custom 20 second "continuation" music for the sequence, which is this :
Using this, find the original video game sequence that is parodied.
Bonus question 1 : Name a Pokémon. You win if it's the one I'm thinking of. That's it. No clue, no nothing. Theres now 1028. You can try any time you can answer a question. May the odds be in your favor.

Re: Video Games Knowledge Quiz - Season 9 - Pirez
Here is a hint for all of you.
It's a very well known game that nearly everybody had on the NES. The sequence happens right after pressing start.
Also, sound effect were removed in the file I shared because it's so unique it would give it away.

Well, as someone who grew up with the NES, and who had played a lot of the game nearly everyone had on the NES, my mind shot to Duck Hunt because I remember this tune.

And since my edit of the music has a specially cosplayed Rayman, I think we're due for an Astérix question
QUESTION 8 : Astérix games of the early days usually are 2D sidescrollers. While 1999's Astérix : The Gallic War (PC, Playstation) features some 2D sidescrolling action, it's not the base game at all.
Instead, the main game is modeled on a very famous board game. Which is it?

I've only played the 1995 Asterix & Obelix by Infogrames, so I'm gonna guess at random... Monopoly?
And Weezing.

Settlers of Catan?
Charizard.
Charizard.
Re: Video Games Knowledge Quiz - Season 9 - Pirez
No for all of you, that's for sure. You may try again.
I'm not sure if I need to give you a hint though. Look carefully at every word of the question, maybe it's hidden in plain sight. That will be my hint for the time being.

Re: Video Games Knowledge Quiz - Season 9 - Pirez
I'm learning that none of you are board games enthusiasts and it honestly surprise me a bit, especially since the one in question is one of the most famous one.
Also, I never thought of chess as a board game, but it may be because it's so timeless.
