Oh if we're deciding to change what kind of mascot Linux has, I would like to suggest a smiling frog. No I'm not talking about the frog emoji over there....

Funfact: I really did once design an OS called "PlumOS" on paper, when I was like 10~11 (as in, before I started calling myself "PluM"). I knew nothing about OS development back then, I was just concentrating on coming up with a weird UI based on plums!
EDIT: Gaeilge supremacy also sounds suspiciously like some of child me's utopian visions! :confus:

But I really don't understand why the clones were talking about Windows 3.1, which I like, and also AI, which I loathe :mefiant:

Have you ever submitted kernel patches? That's an experience.
The real me? Nope, never patches, but I did participate in an LKML discussion when they briefly broke mmap(2) with the MAP_32BIT option a few years ago…

I feel like the 3.1 stuff was just random, since you've talked about it before in the IT topic. The AI stuff I think was just relevant to the theme because of the banner. It was likely clear that you'd look at that and be confused, clearly not being a fan of AI.
