Yep, that's the exact one. Playing it caused the Audiosurf track to recolour to blue and orange, and for a few days people were playing it over and over to try to bring forward the Steam release of Portal 2!

I might show the score screenshot I made yesterday once I'm home as I'm currently unable to do so.

It's Audiosurf. Basically you put any mp3 file you have on your PC and play. Same with other audio formats that are supported there.

I know this happened last year but I take the chance to confirm we in Portugal did get this blackout everywhere that lasted for many hours. Mobile data communications were cut for everyone by the beginning of that afternoon except for key services such emergency networks. The only way to obtain for information was through battery/solar/dynamo powered radios! I only got power back in my area at evening, I remember to have spent the full day finishing to read a book as long sunlight was still around :oops2: . I remember there were locations that got electricity only at the next morning! It was a very unusual event, I don't remember to have experienced something of that scale.

It's the end of April and it's growing more green in my country. I was also browsing my old artworks and I feel like they aged badly... anyway!
I've been getting more interest in Thomas, Truck Sims and copybooks lately. I don't know if it will affect my interest in Rayman Community/Franchise in any way, but yea. I cooled down, too. And I feel quite motivated for homework (I guess). How are you all while I was out for days?

I've had the busiest couple of days. In the morning, I left for the 6 Flags thats near me, and spent half the day there with some friends before we left at ~2 PM (we were there for a school field trip). When I got back, I immediately went with a couple friends to the cheesecake factory, and spent an hour with them there, before exploring the mall for a while, buying shitry skeleton themed trading cards and spaghetti themed socks. As we were waking back, we found an abandoned shopping cart, and "borrowed" it. While walking back home with the shopping cart, we had to make a pit stop at another friends house to pick up some stuff, where he gave me a drawing of me he'd been working on for a month as an extremely late Christmas present. After I got home and said my goodbyes to that group of friends, I finally went to sleep. The next day, I spent my morning finally getting every ending in a game I had spent the last couple weeks struggling to beat, before meeting up with yet another group of friends to go see Fight Club in theatres, before we ate out at a restaurant. When we got back to my place, we took the shopping cart (which I had left in my garage, it's still there!) and shoved eachother down a giant hill while in the shopping cart. After they left, I walked into my home to see my sister and her friends, back from Prom, doing karaoke in my living room with microphones and speakers, completely wasted, with the entire living room being a giant mess. Safe to say I couldn't fall asleep until 2 AM. Very disorienting couple of days, 10/10.

This video has aged far too well like fine wine, especially with how UK broadcasters are asking for laws to force their videos onto YT recommendations and something similar is happening in the EU.

I tried to post my fanfic in Fanfiction(.)net and it turned out the characters I have in it are absent in there, which did upset me. So I'll have to make it the audio fanfic instead. I mean, I can upload it on AO3 but that wouldn't feel deep and fascinating imo.
Anyway, how's everyone doing?

I guess YouTube's own decisions and the political pressure it is exposed to are two very different things, but it's funny nonetheless that the top comment for this 17-year-old video is this:
It's so sad to go back and watch this. YouTube 2009 is paradise compared to modern YouTube.

I will admit that seeing the old UI in that video – it just looks so cute compared to the modern aesthetic! :hap:

(Though at the time I probably hated it because it was all Flash-based :mefiant:)

Yesterday, I went to a communion of my cousin's, and ended up watching my other cousin get a girlfriend during it. They both had a bit too much alcohol while there, and ended up confessing to eachother at the same time. Very intresting 5 hours.

Meanwhile im still single :P

I see, as it encapsulates the separation from Google that the parent company once promised to YouTube at the time, I still prefer the February 2007 post-acquisition layout.

Yeah, someone might want to double check that sentence as YouTube wasn't entirely a paradise back in the late 2000s as there was...
Mismanagement to say the least at YT under Google with takedowns and pre-roll ads.

I don’t want to be that guy, but Fanzo you might want to check out the forum rules lest the mods intervene:
PluMGMK wrote: Sun Nov 05, 2023 3:00 pm Please remember that this is a forum, not a chat. Each post takes up considerable screen space, and discussions are browsable for years, or even decades, after they take place (this is not a bad thing!). So, when posting, please consider the person reading your discussion in a few hours, or a few days, or a few weeks, or even a few years. The future reader should be able to understand what is being discussed, and not have to wade through pages of nonsense.
  • With some exceptions (see below), double-posting (or triple-posting etc.) is not allowed. In other words, if you have the last post in a topic, you generally should not make another post after it until somebody else replies. If you break this rule, your posts will be merged (with corresponding reduction in post count) and Tings will be deducted as a penalty.
    • If you have something to add to your message, you can edit the existing post using the icon to the top-right of it that resembles a pencil.
    • If you want to quote multiple posts in your reply, you can use the quote buttons in the "topic review" below the editor when you are initially making your post (or else just manually copy-paste the text inside quote tags).
