I've decided to test out your theory. It is indeed happened to be X and Y scaling. I've played with some values in .act file and got this result

shouldnt you just use ubicanvas to edit .act files? it is FAR more accesible than hex editing and you can do a lot more

As long as you have a right suggestion to use ubicanvas, I needed to know how these files work for a whole different reason. I was trying to check ubicanvas' source code to check out how these devs are serializing and (or) deserializing .act files, but found nothing. Hence why I started checking how they work on my own and made a post here
