I need help! how do i make a website?

i have a website planned out, i just need to actually build it

so, first, what program should i use to make the pages? how do i link them, and put pictures in the pages? then, how do i put it on the web?

i'd greatly appreciate any help

ps: this website is not the kind with a forum

1st, find a hoster. Like lycos, freewebs, geocities, ifrance, etc...
After, to make a website, you shouldn't use a logicial but the notepad. Ull have to learn the HTML but your pages will be better than a logicial pages !

I've got a less confusing solution. Download Cool Pages, from http://www.coolpages.com (or something like that) and get a paid version. (BTW, once you buy it, you've bought it. It's not a monthly thing) then you just get into the program (like you would other programs) and put text and pics into your pages. Then get info from a hoster, so you can get your website published there, and then push the publish button. That's how RaymanQuest was made.

actually, i know of other programs

the most ideal one would be front page editor but the cost is... 125.00$

that's more than i can get in a long time

so, hte program you mentioned sounds god, but the website is hard to navigate, and my mom would kill me if she saw the stuff on it..
it's worth a shot...

i just created a freewebs account. now, i have to get a good editing program, and then build a website, after i have my tyranids painted

No. ".com" will depend on what hoster you use.

No. You have to find one yourself. They will recommend EZHoster, but it's not included with the downloaded package.
