As long as you have 512MB or higher of RAM. Then it should be fine. ^^

That often happens in the American version also. Where you step out onto the net of rope, it may appear.Hunchman801 wrote:In the French version, the Pirate head appears at the very beginning of the Whale Bay.

Can someone post a picture of the pirate head screen? Seeing as I don't have the PC version, I can't reproduce it on a N64.

That's nothing but a pirate head that prevents you from seeing the level with a Missing CD error message. Though I managed to complete the Whale Bay with it xD

Are you talking about Rayman 1? It won't
Re: Windows Vista compatibility with the Rayman games...
Apart from rayman 1, gold, and forever. All other rayman games will work on the most up to date systems. The fact that rayman gold and Forever don't work on windows XP makes me very sad!

Re: Windows Vista compatibility with the Rayman games...
It is becuse the computer is too powerful for it. And it is out of its compatability range.

Re: Windows Vista compatibility with the Rayman games...
Rayman 1 can run on XP with DOSBOX.
I have game EXE set to: C:\RAYMAN\RAYMAN.EXE
Setup EXE: D:\RAYMAN\INSTALL.BAT
Start fullscreen check, use scan codes check.
Render method: surface
Fullscreen Resolution:800x600
Scale: 2x
Dos Memory: 32 XMS check EMS check
CPU cycles: depends on your processor. You need to experament with this one.
CPU Core: Normal. (May vary depending on processor again, but I'm no sure.)
VideoCard:VGA
Mounting: Hard Drive(the one rayman is on) as drive. CD ROM as CD ROM.
Enable Sound: I just used the defaults.
Priority: Higher.
Get DOSBOX here:http://dosbox.sourceforge.net/news.php?show_news=1
I also reccomend you get D-Fend so that it will be easier and remember all the settings.

How did you complete Whale Bay with a big pirate head head obscuring the screen?! That seems impossible for me.Hunchman801 wrote:That's nothing but a pirate head that prevents you from seeing the level with a Missing CD error message. Though I managed to complete the Whale Bay with it xD

I tested Rayman M with Vista. It´s not work wery well. Among other things Rayman was wholly orange.
