Re: Rayman himself
Totally. Again RRR didn't have that in the title, so the next one could be called Rayman 4.
Re: Rayman himself
You practically copied what I said.
Re: Rayman himself
Hum... I thought about this subject.
No idea why they didn't named it Rayman 4... Hey, I remember one thing. Before Rayman RR, Michel Ancel said that he wasn't interested in do another Rayman game but more other projects he had in mind. I think I read that on an interview with the RZ "Create a fansite". Maybe he didn't want to do another sequel and put that tittle like Rayman M, arena, rush, revolution, etc. If you look at them, they're like the games with the numbers, but haven't got numbers. See what I mean? Or I'm being a little confusing?

Re: Rayman himself
Do you mean, the games with numbers are the BIG storyline, and the ones without numbers are a sideplot? And sorry jman for copying you, didn't realize at the time.
Re: Rayman himself
Yeah, that's what I mean.

Re: Rayman himself
They've done that quite a bit if you think about it. Except for the fact that they seem to WANT you to the RRR is actually the storyline. That'd be more convincing if it had the number 4 next to it. In my opinion, it should be called Rayman Arena 2.
Re: Rayman himself
They are doing that with Grand Theft Auto.

Re: Rayman himself
Oh, gotcha. But aren't san andreas and vice city part of the story? In the rayman franchise, the ones without numbers are either upgraded versions of previous games (ie, revolution) or minigame/battle games (ie Arena and Raving Rabbids). San Andreas and Vice City both have stories to them.

Re: Rayman himself
No, we were talking about the rayman franchise in context to GTA.
Re: Rayman himself
Hi, TBH!
Re: Rayman himself
GTA uses names. The first three Rayman games used numbers and names.
Rayman (<- announces Rayman)
Rayman 2: The Great Escape
Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc
Rayman Arena/M is for fans that like to beat each other up on the internet, or with two controllers. Rayman Revolution is a PS2 version of Rayman 2 that has a higher quality because they probable wanted to use a lot of cool features in their PS2 game. Only that would make PC-version-owners jealous because they are stuck with a less high quality game. Also Rayman Revolution probable shows a bit more what Rayman's world looks like. You can visit Globox's House for example, with his kids playing soccer/football.

Re: Rayman himself
I edited my previous post because I didn't explain why Rayman(1) was also a game using numbers and names.
Why numbers, because it was the first Rayman game.
Why names, check the updated previous post.

Re: Rayman himself
You could of just put "EDIT" to announce that, not just post again.
Re: Rayman himself
I did use the edit button, but not to announce that.
Sorry.. I won't do it again.

Re: Rayman himself
Yah, but you could announce your edit in the same post. And don't worry about it. I've done that a few times.
Re: Rayman himself
I'm agree about what you say. Specially with Rayman Revolution.AniCator wrote:GTA uses names. The first three Rayman games used numbers and names.
