You can drink at 18 in the uk. and you can smoke, get a driving licence and legally have sex in the uk at 16 years of age.

I think the drinking age is going to be increased to 21 in the UK soon. The legal age of consent is going to be lowered to 13, which I find really ridiculous, but still.
