There are people who call themselves fans just because they really love a band, but in my mind, a fan is something different ^^

Fan is sort of the casual version of Fanatic, even though technically they are the same word.

Being a fan doesn't always mean that you really like a band, it might also be becuase they are your inspiration for doing certain things.
