I just downloaded phpBB. I have no idea how to set it up. Could somebody tell me how to, please?
Would be very much appreciated.

Re: PhpBB Help
Thanks
. I'm trying out phpBB to see if it's as good as InvisionFree!
Re: PhpBB Help
I think that they are of both equal quality. I think if you ask Hunch, he will help you. He is the PhpBB master.

Re: PhpBB Help
You've downloaded the package, and now you have to extract it. This will create a folder that you can call forum, forums, phpBB, actually whatever you want.
Then you need a web account on which you can upload this folder. What hoster do you use?

I might create a forum just for fun, and so my website can have a forum.

Re: PhpBB Help
Sam, I have sold my forum to Neo for 5,000 Tings. You might want to show him the basics, he is the new admin.

That's your email server, but you need to choose a web hoster if you want to have a real forumSamBeckett94 wrote:Hunch: Google Mail.

Re: PhpBB Help
I joined eight forums, so I am used to many different layouts and designs, adding a little more to my experience. For a 36 year old who has a lot on his mind, eight is a big number of forums to join.
Re: PhpBB Help
I don't either. Must be alien language.
