Some of them were poor, but the inventors of the buildings and the techniques used to build them would be rich.

Well I've been to the UK, to Turkey, to Greece, to Cyprus, to Italy, and to Spain (actually only one afternoon, near the border).

I went to Chichester years ago.

I have never heard of Chichester and I live in the country that it's in.

I've heard of Chichester. It's near Petersfield and not far from Winchester

I have been near Winchester before I think. When I went to Cornwall or Penzance or something.

Cornwall isn't near Winchester, and Penzance certainly isn't!
