Re: Please introduce yourself here
It would if it was cloudy.
Re: Please introduce yourself here
Nope, then the light from the clouds would. Light from a town's lights gets reflected off clouds.

What if you were in a very rural area?

Re: Please introduce yourself here
Well I have ten for each eye and I doubt it'll improve by 1.5 ^^Shape of Death wrote:Actually, people with bad eyesight like me (around -5 and some other problems which I don't enjoy talking about) have their eyesight become better in years... For example, my mom's eyesight improved by like 1,5 already.

I'm sure there would be light coming from somewhere.Beebop wrote:What if you were in a very rural area?

What does 1.5 and all that mean?. How far you can see?

Re: Please introduce yourself here
The results of visual perception tests allow opticians to rate your eyesight out of ten.
Re: Please introduce yourself here
Mine is probably going to be 12 out of 10

Re: Please introduce yourself here
A very good eyesight is rated 10, I guess
Re: Please introduce yourself here
But if you are longsighted, I guess it would be higher than ten. Having super eyesight comes with it's disadvantages though.

Re: Please introduce yourself here
In fact you won't. Your eyesight may be far better than mine, you'll still get ten, because you'll be able to read the hardest part of the test, like me. You may be able to succeed far harder tests, but they aren't performed.
Re: Please introduce yourself here
The disadvantages of being longsighted is that you get severe eyestrain, which leads to bad headaches.

Re: Please introduce yourself here
Kind of, 1 is the best, -X is for short-sighted people like me, +X is for people who are farsighted.
The bigger the X is, the worse your eyesight is.

My cousin can't even see more than 50 ft in front of him. He is very short sighted.

Re: Please introduce yourself here
They don't use the same rating system in France then.
Re: Please introduce yourself here
I think France and England have the same rating.

Yes, I guess so. I personally hate all those different measurement systems in different countries..Hunchman801 wrote:They don't use the same rating system in France then.
Re: Please introduce yourself here
I know, why can't they just do it the simple way.
